Back in the day my dad wrestled as the blue cyclone. For Mid-South wrestling along with the mcmahons and all of them before they got big. Back whenever Mid-South wrestling and cowboy Bob Kelly and all them guys. I asked him about this case has I don't remember it happening but that don't mean nothing

This is the first time I've ever heard the full two part version; never even knew it existed until now. I've only ever heard the "single" version which I first heard when I was in 6th grade ('86 - '87), and I listened to it so much I had it completely memorized. The editing they did to get to the "single" from this two part version is interesting. Even more interesting is that they did the editing at all, rather than just having Stevens sing it again (something he's certainly no stranger to).

Back in the 80s when i was in the Navy . my friend and I got assigned to clean some heads in the area of our Bearthing. We had to clean the Starboard head.. spotless, (Actually it was the best job for us ... we were Nukes in the Navy). This album Rocked!, How Fun!

Just wanted to let you know Ray Stevens has a 3 CD box set that has both these songs plus all the classics. Like The Streak, The Shriner's Convention, Everything is Beautiful, It's Me Again Margaret and a lot more. I believe it's like $30.00 or they have used ones for less. I just bought a used 1,it was in pretty good condition for $12.00 on Amazon( June 30th, 2022.....I love Ray Steven's songs, as someone else has said he is a musical genius....

one of the great advantages to the digital format of music...has been the removal of any need to chop a song in half ..like was done on the LP and tape version of this song and I believe "Freebird" as well...hey guys let's compose a song and then cleft it in twain...

This the "original", I had this album and this song was in two parts. I did not know that there was a "single version" until I got the cd set called " Get the best of Ray Stevens". And I remember being surprised to here a cut down version with some of the lines cut out or changed..

This song comes right off the “I Have Returned” album, and is “the original” were it was in two parts.
