Joe's body of work is awesome. The pure talent he possesses is on display with every performance. I have seen him live 4 times, and each time is such a wonderful experience. And everyone on stage with him is world class. This band includes Antone Fig on drums, a 20 year veteran of Paul Schafer's Late Night Band. The bassist here is the late Michael Rhodes, "The most recorded bassist in Nashville history." The keyboard player is the legendary Reese Wynans, formerly of Stevie Ray Vaughn and Double Trouble fame. Absolutely anyone who is on stage with Joe is at the top of their class.

It's a treat to find a young person like you who is able to appreciate REAL music. It's interesting that you performed a vocal analysis on him. I'm a guitarist (blues/rock) who has been following Joe Bonamassa since the beginning of his career. Whenever I think of his music, I think in terms of him being the “number one blues guitarist in the world.” (John Mayer being a close second, just behind Joe). And in passing I think, “He also sings pretty well.” So it's interesting to see somebody approaching him as a vocalist first and a guitarist second. I encourage you to do more of his work. He has some really incredible stuff plus he has some amazing collaborations with Beth Hart. If you've never heard of Beth Hart, she's the reincarnation of Janis Joplin and more. Thank you for this great video of yours.

RAYACTIONS: This is the first reaction video of yours that I've watched. EXCELLENT! I've been listening a lot to Joe Bonamassa for 10 years. He's incredibly versatile and has a HUGE body of work. Especially notable is his collaboration with singer Jimmy Barnes on "Stone Cold" and singer Beth Hart on "I'd Rather Go Blind." Don't forget to enjoy the performances, as well as analyzing them. If you value the emotional impact as the most important aspect of the music, Joe is, arguably, the greatest living blues guitarist - but you have to hear a lot more of it to realize it. Do more Joe Bonamassa reaction videos & I'll watch them multiple times. In any event, I really like you & this reaction video. Good work.

They guy on the pin on his guitar strap is Principal Skinner from The Simpons! Long story short that guitar is a very expensive and sought after 1959 Gibson Les Paul "Burst" sold through Skinner auctions, known as the "Skinner Burst", but Joe gave it the nickname Principal Skinner hence the pin!

PS. Joe bonamassa is a virtuoso, he started his career at like 15-16 years old ? He was invited by a lot of blues legends to play with them and it started his career. He's probly like top 10 greatest guitar players. For sure top 5 in blues

He started playing at 4. He always has long solos and it's not always the same. Joe is a Master! You need to watch some more. He has 28#1 blues albums. Check out "I'll take care of you" beacon theater and "prisoner" "last Matador of Bayonne" at Live at the Hollywood Bowl. Joe has had an amazing career first paying gig at 11. Opened 20 shows for BBKing the summer he was 12. Had a band called Bloodline from 14-18. Solo career 20 til now. So he's had a tremendous career of 36yrs and still going strong. ❤

Oh man do you have a rabbit hole to fall down. He just scared his 28th#1 blues album. Joe always ends the songs with a tiny solo. He improvises all the time. He has always had bands that are there to be a band. They always listen to each other and there's space for each. Joe has been playing since 4 and doesn't remember a time he didn't have a guitar in his hands. He can make a guitar sing, wail all the above.

And The Three Kings are BB King, Albert King, and Freddy King. Three of the greatest blues men ever. There is an endless amount of Joe Bonamassa music to go through.
