Escapism was the song that made me discover RAYE, so it will always have special place in my heart. This medley covers three of my favs of her: Escapism, Genesis, Ice Cream Man. You should definitely check out Ice Cream Man full version, it's not an easy watch but it's very emotional. Also i recommend Black Mascara, which is a little bit different but i love that song. Damn, check her full album basically 😄.

This performance is being live broadcast on the BBC where she has to sub some of the lyrics. plus she opens with her Sa/rape song - ice cream man with the attacker likely right there in the audience at this award ceremony plus she walked out with a record amount 6 brits. It was her creative genius that did the arrangement for this performance.

Hello my friend, great to see you back with more RAYE, I've been waiting for this :) - I see you my friend, she's starting to get a hold on you... - This was my second or even first encounter with her, half a year ago (and Oscar Winning Tears live, I'm not sure which one was first...) anyway I felt like I had been sleeping under a rock for quite a few years and indeed she has some amazing recordings from early teenage days on... Is Prada a banger? Well, tbh not my favorite tune, but it is a banger and was very successful. Problem is, it's a collab with some guys, so when she's doing it solo, these are usually quite short versions with her parts only. Imo there are better genuinely RAYE songs to react to... Yeah, I recently heard Prada separately and don't like it at all. I LOVE this arrangement lol. Look at yall, got me liking live versions more than studios. What is happening to me!? But yeah I'll eventually get to more of her soon enough, if it doesn't beat me up with copyright and whatnot. But as of now, Raye is a mainstay of the channel so no need to worry about that.

@@TheBlackSpeed "liking live versions more than studios"... yeah, that's what she does (and only great artists can do that, 99% of the acts out there sound like ish live) ... today I found another incredible live performance by her I had missed so far, two years ago RAYE performed "The Thrill Is Gone" together with the famous pianist Jools Holland and band for his show on the BBC, my fav version of the song so far... You can't do things like this in a studio... Peace and love! If you want to react just search for Thrill Is Gone Jools...

Prada wasn't a full song she did a feature on a DBlock track not really my thing however from that people wanted more so she went back into the studio and did an extended acoustic version of it which I love as it's really haunting that I would recommend you listen to if you do want to hear more. Pretty much anything she does live is fire & always brings something extra to the table. Ice cream man is her at her most raw and vunerable her performance of it at the Royal Albert Hall the most moving for me to date, actually the whole of the Royal Albert Hall concert has not been topped for me, that night she just glowed from start to finish watching it was like a movie as much as it was a concert, unfortunately the whole.concert is only available in the UK on iplayer although Oscar Winning Tears is on youtube and you can download the audio, there may be a couple.of other songs now too

She's an amazing live performer and the Royal Albert Hall performance shows just how fantastic a vocalist Raye is! I watched her live performance of Ice Cream Man and Body Dysmorphia at the Royal Albert Hall and it gave me goosebumps and showed Raye at her most vulnerable.
