Have you tried sending the fragmented objects to the sleeping list? This would make the fragments only break apart once an object hits them. For instance if you had a ball hitting a pillar, the ball would be a static/kinematic object and the pillar would initially be a dynamic object. Once you've fragmented the pillar, go back to objects and select the fragments, click menu and send to sleeping list. Hope that helps!

I am trying to use the Rayfire Bricks modifier in v. 1.81 for 3ds Max 2018, but I get an error where it is not generating any meshes. If I click Explode it just makes one copy and nothing else. I can see the bricks if I click on the gizmo, but as soon as I click on the modifier name I can't see them anymore. If anyone could help me I'd really appreciate it. Great tutorial btw!

Greetings MirVadim, how many interesting things occur to one to try this great tool ..., it really is incredible ..., but I have the same doubt that I have seen in some comments ..., the option of framentacion of the pieces using the option of "Demolish Geometry" ..., it has not worked either ..., it is also disabled when playing the scene ..., maybe it only worked in previous versions .., or something I skipped at the time of to do it ..., in the end to split some pieces, as shown in the tutorial, I decided to manually select them and apply the "Fragment" type voronoi ..., and well, in the end you get a similar result ... (This way I have also solved doubts of previous tutorials, to be able to fracture bigger pieces generated with the RF Tracer ....) ...., all fantastic ..., and I am already looking forward to see the following tutorial .. ., thanks for everything and un saludo.

Great tutorial! But there is a thing that im curious about. How is it that your computer is so fast at "creating world" or "adding sleeping objects"? Takes 30s+ for me and about 5s for you! Im on a AMD x6, SSD, Gtx460, 8gb ram

i tried fragmenting a box using slice bricks, but it doesn't appear to be like how its shown in this tutorial. Instead it looks like chessboard. I hope you u guys understood what i'am trying to say. Can anybody please help me.?

Great tutorial!! I have a problem :( i turn on the interactive demolition but when i start to simulate nothing gets demolished and when i cancel it and go back to the interactive demolition tab it is turned off. It is driving me crazy. Do you have any idea why this would happen??

Witch version of PhysX and 3ds max use? My 3ds Max 2012 works slowly with 1.58 rayfire version. Anyone can advise me to get more speed? My Ram is 32 Gb, and I have i-7 3930 12 threads. Thanks

Norbert Gardonyi you can use it, but you will need a good CPU becouse Nvidia cards have physx onboard but if you dont have nvidia it will run of ur CPU. i recommend 3.5 - 4.0+ GHZ on the cpu.
