I'm always seeing in scum chat "i'm starving/ I can't find food / I died of thrust." and I always try to point out that food is abundant in scum. From farms, bushes, and mushrooms found in the forests/woods. Animals can be found with patience, and using your awareness skill. Hunting is one of my favorite things to do in scum. I believe when people spawn in for the first time, they fail too see how this game closely reassembles life in the wild. Yes, this is survival, but use that wet ol' noodle between those two listen holes and everything you need is literally right around you. Great tips video Ray! I'll start to point everyone who "cant find food" towards your vids. Thanks again Ray. I missed the stream today, had a medical emergency with my pup today. She is doing better, but has to be monitored by the vet for the next day or two. Glad to see ya back in the chair and rockin that badass voice! Keep'em coming! Thanks again Ray!

When early access for this game started, you could butcher puppets for the meat. Sure it was cannibalism, but you could find puppets a lot easier than animals.

You should have put that meat in the tractor inventory and gone back for the rest of the meat. Also there was a crow on the road and you could have shot that as well and gotten feathers and meat. Then you could have made some stone arrowheads and made better arrows. Also, you don't have to cook the meat. You can eat it raw.

I bought the game recently and noticed I have to constantly eat even after I am 100% well fed it seems as though I can barely do anything without having to constantly search for and eat food. what bugs me about this other than the obvious is the a human being can do many days without food but in this game you spend so much time eating. Am I missing something ? is it worth eating burnt meat i.e can you get any nutrition from it ?

Not sure I bought this a while ago and stopped playing it until its updated more. I used to just eat the puppet meat but you cant anymore also never noticed having to eat that much either. what size is your character did you make them well built? if you did they will have to eat more than usual but still not to the amount that you mentioned.

Eat sardines mushrooms etc hold left ctrl over all the food types when you find them and note down what they say about vitamins

Wish you would do a video on how to get a good start on a populated server. A lot of players have trouble with that. They keep getting killed by players and they abandon the game.

That sounds easier said than done. It's all subjective really, just don't rush in and take your time. but we'll get more into that as the guides go on

how well does health regen works Ray?, does stuff like consuming a large amount of vitamins with resting does speeds up?

Health regens better when you have a good amount of food in your stomach digesting, but naturally it is slow. What you can do is use the laying down animation that will increase stamina and health twice as fast but takes time.

I guess you can do if you want to go vegan route but if you set your character to be strong you need to eat a lot of protein to keep your strength up.
