This touches my heart and soul . I'm an recovered addict . been sober for almost 12 years . But now I've been watching my sister battle alcoholism and mental illness for many years . Ive done everything I can think of . Fought , loved , begged . Its been heart wrenching . watching her lose herself . Because this is not who she is . She checked her self into a treatment facility yesterday and I'm so relieved ... but my heart still hurts because I know she has a long road ahead of her . Please send prayers

This song is written TO a narcissist from the point of view of an empath. No doubt about it. It describes what narcissists do perfectly, “Tell me that you mean it, that you won’t leave again...Take it if you want it, I’m so tired I just don’t care, can’t you see how much you hurt me, it’s like I wasn’t there”. But still, our paper hearts burn. This song is perfection.

Speaks directly to my heart and how I'm currently feeling about someone. I'm in love... and I'm not exactly sure how he feels. I know there's chemistry, but it's so much more than that. The person you love becomes first. I want him to be happy no matter where or who he's with... even if it's not with me. It hurts before it's even began, and I'm more than okay with that. Would have never heard of you, if not for Keith Richards. Listened to an interview between him and his daughter last night. They played this song. I wrote it down. Beautiful!

I enjoy a lot of what Ray does, but this is by far his best sound. The vocals, instrumentals, are just the best, keep this sound. I love the blues, with the beautiful voice tone, you have a winner for sure.

My husband turned me on to Ray's music - so heartfelt. I am in love with my husband, but Ray seems to bring out a deeper depth of love especially when we are listening to Ray together.

this song is what my heart is speaking. During this lockdown it's making me nostalgic and thinking even more. I hope you are doing good wherever you are at, my heart does not hold any anger or hate towards you. I will always love you and you will always have a place in my heart. Loving someone unconditionally is also letting them go no matter how painful it is towards you.

Wow.. very well put indeedie. I hope that she is doing as well as I am now, and she gets through her chains like I have managed, though I can offer little to no assistance. All I can do is wait and love, wo condition. Ray L, once again, coaxes my emotions w his vocals and his guitar sliding to and fro. BRAVO!

Wow!! Everything is this song works beautifully,. I love the analogy "my heart is like paper, your's is like a flame" But that is just one of the lines out of many that are so relatable; truly my new favorite song from Ray.
