Raylan loved Winona so much, it was quite sweet to see. He was very faithful and loyal to her too. And I loved that Winona was never presented as infatuated with him, like every other woman who came across him. Ava was practically drooling the minute he showed up on her porch in the pilot. He didn't want any of that.

It didn't matter what she did, Raylan was always going to protect and take care of Winona. That's the love of his life. And she knew he would. I liked them together a lot.

Winona is so insanely hot that I fully understand why Raylan helped her. He was completely blinded by his love for her, can't blame the guy.

Raylan was mostly cool but when you messed with his wife, for any reason...that's when he had to show ya where he came from as it were. This was a fun little arc with Raylan and Winona tied to that dollar bill, only to find out she took way more than just ONE BILL.

Raylan being so fiercely protective of Winona is my favorite version of Raylan. I love this two-parter episode.

Why? People did much worse on Justified. Hell, Raylan could have gone to jail for colluding with Sammy Tonin to execute Nicky. We know he did the right thing to protect Winona and their baby but the "spirit" of the law doesn't hold up in court.
