Dude your an absolute legend! Rayman 3 was my first major game that i owned and as a teen back in the early 2000s, i played it to Death! Beaten it easily over 10 times now and am Able to Speedrun it quite well! I've always hoped Ubisoft would give it a remake but with Michel Ancel leaving in 2020 my hopes of that becoming a reality dropped significantly! THANKYOU and GOOD LUCK! Hey what a nice video. I can relate to the "not trying to be over ambitious" when taking Rayman 3, is a game that has succeeded already, as an example to learn the engine. I myself come from a direction of art, and finding actually user friendly programming tools in Unreal like that has, as you said, motivated a lot to go for it and learn the other genres of making a game, like actually putting together the level design, characters, sound design together with code and action making it in the end a real place to experience. It's a great idea and there are many people who went for making their own Fairy Council just for practices. I dont know. There just is something about Rayman's 3d artstyle out of it's time, and your Version of it highlighted the smallest most important details the most (butterflies, particle effects) which is the magic. Cheeeers!
