Absolutely incredilble work, this was the first game i played as a 3rd person shooter and taught me a lot of the basics one should have for these things. The fact, that i randomly looked up a remake by this and got surprised by a working, beautiful looking version mere minutes later is nothing short of incredible! There is no way this is actually playable on pc. This game was my childhood. Summers and summers spent playing this at my southern family's ps2, when I couldn't afford one. I am going to download the hell out of this when I get home. WHY DID I NOT FIND OUT SOONERRRRRRRRR

And well, I’m 100% sure it’s possible, but it will likely be in a few years as the game will have to be completely reverse-engineered, and we currently don’t have the manpower to make quick progress. KingEngine and Gamer72 did make some custom map skins for existing maps though!

As someone who is a huge fan of this game, (just look at my uploads lol) this is very interesting, is there any plans on adding the exclusive content from arena? (Xbox/gamecube), as it does have new stages, music tracks, (many revamped from the original ps2/pc game) and even a completely new character.

Glad you like the project! We have talked about custom levels and characters later down the line, and the levels from the GC/Xbox versions, as well as Dark Globox are definitely on our to-do list. In all honesty though, it will take a very long time before we can even start making custom stuff for the game.

Is there a reason the in game music is not working properly while doing a race? Normally whoever is in first place is the theme you will be hearing but now you only hear your own character theme for the entire race. Well done with the graphics btw!

There is no official guide or readme, but we will add those in the future. I see Xander helped you with your problem though, but those without access to our Discord should have access to at least a FAQ or, as you said, a readme file they can open in order to fix most problems.

Hello! Sadly, the game can only be played on PC, and there are no plans to bring the game to consoles yet. Of course no one knows what the future of this game will bring, though.

I would love to recommend this, but it's a pain in the butt to setup! Online matches are the easy part. I can't get it to run in high-res and the default key binds (which reset every time I play the game) are a hot mess. Part of that is down to Ubisoft but what can be done?

We are aware of the fact that the game can be hard to setup for some, and are working on it, albeit slowly as we only have one developer with limited time on his hands. As for the keybind setup, in some old games like this one you have to save the settings manually, which you can do in the menu. You can't run the game in high res? I play in 3840x2160 often and I've never encountered a problem personally. In which resolution are you trying to run the game, and do you get an error message or does it just refuse to start?

@@bkev93 Thank you! I'm the guy that made the YT channel and Discord server, the real credit goes to zZeck (he made the network patch) and JustAxe (he made the launcher). Unfortunately, that is a common problem... one of our Discord members apparently solved the problem by locating the game in RCP. I hope that works for you as well.

Dark Globox isn’t in this version, sadly. We use Arena PC as the foundation for our project, and that version doesn’t have Dark Globox in it
