I have the older ST4000 autohelm. I think the plastic level/clutch is my issue. I may need to put a new one in. I have not yet checked the belt. Is the Raymarine ST4000 ??? same as the older Autohelm ST4000 before raymarine purchased them? If so, I might still be able to find parts I guess. Thanks.

I was wondering how to remove the motor until I saw your video. Thank you! Any chance you'll be making a video showing removal of motor and replacing the connector?

Unfortunately my autohelm is fitted back onboard, I will as soon as I can....... Apparently the motor is widely used in remote control models, and is much cheaper ordered from a RC supplier. I have not confirmed this yet.
