from the splitter, the audio gets sent to the mixer and the FOH. it literally splits the signal to 2.

everyone has a different mix. in order of volume levels, my iem mix is- vox, bass, drums, a little bit of guitars and very faint click which i only hear on the sections when the drums are not playing.

i think we use an sm58 clone. there is some change in the sound but it doesnt throw u off. since its always taped on the same spot. just like all the vox mics, it gets the room reverb. so bale u get used to the room right away.

Saw your IEM rig using L12 sa mows. I noticed some of you guys are also using amp sim and IRs na. Naka connect ba a&h sa front of house?

Gtr>pedalboard> amp sim XLR > splitter. the splitter splits the gtr signal to foh and the monitor mixer. also from the amp sim a 1/4 out is sent to the amp. but the amp is not miked. para sa audience sa harap lang. all monitor wedges are off.

actually any small mixer works for me on the drums. in order of volume level - click, bass, ely vox, sampler, guitars. shinji mutes my mic until i sing.

the ie200 sounds good on its own. use a good receiver and transmitter. 3 brands work for us. anleon, mipro and sennheiser.
