Chidi has hope because of recent discoveries. Rayne does not believe Chidi deserves to receive any healing and doesn't want him to get any. She wanted him specifically because he was blind and therefore could not judge her appearance. She even had a backup blind Nigerian man if things with Chidi didn't work out. Rayne wouldn't have done that if she loved Chidi. She is a sick and tragic person.

Exactly what I've been saying .. He's now known, and that opened up opportunities in both finding out about treatments that aren't available over there , and in now having people support his goal, which wouldn't have happened when he was a stranger .. A lot of go find mes are ridiculous , like David wanting a house .. loren wanting money for things he wants to do in the Philippines, things like that.. But when it comes to medical treatment, I see nothing wrong with it .. He never said there was a cure.. but people are now twisting it all around saying " he saw a Dr on the show who said there was no cure ! He's a scammer !" He never said cure, but he's deserving of a good medical opinion , and treatments if possible
