How to repair when the interior decoration doesnt stay glued to the bottom of the snow globe part?

The motor for the recirculating snow lasts a few seasons at best, then stops working. I don't understand this, as my cat's water bowl has a recirculating water pump that runs daily now for several years. Please redesign your pump system, for happier customers :).
