What I love about this quest is that doing damage with spells is something hunter already wants to do anyway.

That's why it feels good, hunter has a ton of cheap spells and his quest is just 2 spells per step, fast completion and you head the same way, face damage or controling the board while doing both.

@@dom4in637 yep that's the big issue. It's a faster combo than Raza + Anduin, but without card draw Hunter struggles to get enough cards to really machine gun

you know what a hero power that requires you to play cards to refresh it requires? Actually having lots of cheap cards in hand which requires lots of card draw/generation. Hunter doesn't have that so this quest isn't that good. And wild has way more broken things so even if hunter gets draw to make it more playable in wild it's STILL overshadowed by tons of better decks.

My build for this is more 'pure' with more Spells, but tends to run out of steam. I like the beast-based card draw engine you got going here. I'm still trying jank like Lorewalker Cho in it.

Hunter Questline works well with DK Rexxar, just need to remember to play DK Rexxar before completing the second step.

I found it was just better to finish the opponent of with damage than to create a bunch of slow ass beasts when you are getting beat down by either pirate warrior or self damage warlock.

Lots of the spells in this deck can hit friendly minions or your Hero, so it probably doesn't work out well. Funny though.

The main problem with using hero cards is that the cost reduction on the hero power does NOT carry over. If you play Rexxar or Zuljin after completing the second step, your hero power goes back to 2 mana. And with Zuljin being random targets, he's actually godawful for this deck. The spells you want for Zuljin are exactly the ones the questline doesn't care about. I just wish the 0-cost hero power would carry over. I just want to flood the board with infinite free zombeasts.
