I need to give a few contradictions to what you said: The rattle: After all my time of using the mouse I haven’t gotten a single rattle even if I shake it. The sandpaper feet: It’s not actually loud and very easy to ignore, note I do use the mouse with a tv on so I don’t hear it but you probably shouldn’t hear it a lot The cable: I have absolutely no problems with it and it doesn’t affect me with gaming at all as I pay no attention to it unless it touches my fingers. The Login: Sure you need to put information that shouldn’t be put in unless it was on Amazon or something but you can buy products from Razer too so of course they need an address to ship it to. The software: Be aware that I’m still new to it and don’t know how everything works yet but it’s pretty fine. The colors: I’m a guy who would get a pc with no rgb as I think it’s just a big waste of money and it’s worthless so I have no care that there’s only 1 color and two modes for it: Breathing and Static. My verdict: It’s perfectly fine to use (well for Mc PvP) and I really recommend you buy it, I don’t have a single problem with it and problems I do have is just butterfly clicking and aiming (I’m pretty new to it). So if you want to listen to this guy and buy or it or listen to me and buy it. Your choice. Sensei out.

You are entitled to your opinion but I would like to explain mine in regards to some things you have said, The rattle: You may not have a rattle but mine does, this means not all mice Razer sends out are produced to exactly the same standard. For something like a little rattle this isn't something to be too concerned about but is certainly not great. The feet: Your thoughts on this are clearly down to not using a better mouse with good feet. The sound and hearing the sound is not the issue, it just helps highlight that the feet are not smooth or of high quality The cable: Same as the feet, you simply have not used a mouse with a decent cable and clearly miss the point of why a flexible cable is important and the benefits from it. The login/software: The main issue for me is that you need the software since there is no way to change the dpi on the mouse as there is no button to do so. Many people will also be buying this mouse from Amazon since it is cheaper. The requirement to login does not concern me personally but is something many people have said about Razer. The colours: This is down to personal preference however the main point about them is even if you don't need them it is a feature this mouse does not have but others at the same price point and with less shortcomings than the DA Essential do have. My verdict: You have a lack of experience with other mice and are missing the key point. This mouse is poor value for money. Other mice at the same price point are a lot better.

It's basically a cheap mouse demo for people who are looking to try out the Deathadder line of mouses, so you should consider buying this first to see if you like the style and feel. If you do like it, then I highly recommend you upgrade to the Deathadder V2 ASAP because the subtle improvements are really quite noticable. The V2 mouse just feels more quality in the hand and definitely in the mouse click, which is highly responsive and firm but also doesn't double click either. Honestly I can't think of why they even made this mouse aside from buying something cheap yet familiar for a quick replacement while you're away from home.

I am open to discussion and people's opinions however people claiming I am biased really annoys me. Why would I be biased? I've used so many different mice at this price point, and even cheaper, and for a Razer product this cheap and high performing, it is a pure deal. Especially having this in mind: the sensor they use is great, it's the exact classic "DeathAdder"-shape (safe shape for most people), and the build quality is waaay higher than Razer mice used to be back in 2007-2009. Of course they will charge higher than maybe expected, but if you haven't followed the pricing of Razer products since 2007, you shouldn't really care about the pricing of this one at this point.

It's not worthy if u drag click but most of butterfly clickers use this mouse. The Sensor is perfect... I use DeathAdder like 4 months and it's really good. I can't say that DeathAdder is better than Logitech G502 or Glorious Model O but DeathAdder is good mouse, i don't know what this man saying about that mouse, it's really good for that prize.

It's a harsh review and I think people are upset that something they've spent money on I'm calling bad, which is understandable. I don't have the G403 but Logitech use good sensors usually. Even the budget G203 has a lift off distance of 3 playing cards (if I remember correctly) which is as low as the top end mice.

I've been using this Razer for couple of weeks now. Playing AOE4. The problem I am facing is that, the drag issue. When I drag click on a group of unit or even click a single unit very few times it doesn't work, it releases the click. I am frustrated with this mouse. Other than that works fine. And also I am 5'6'', too large for my hand. Bigger than normal A4tech 620D.

Thanks, there isn't any as there is no button on the mouse to change the DPI. You have to set the DPI in software

Not sure on the default, I think it's 800 but you need the software like you say. Don't know about the sensor sorry, it's hard to find for razer mice. There have also been different versions of the DeathAdder Essential, there has been a new one since this video so the sensor may have changed.

Fine mouse, could be a little lighter, but the 3327 is implemented well enough. It tracks fine. Shape is good for claw or palm or a hybrid with larger hands. Cable is alright. Switches are actually very nice. Lots of pretravel on side buttons but no issue in game. Scroll wheel is extremely smooth. Coating is good, feet are passable, textured side grips are nice.

It has a fast speed which is easy to control. It has a 2cd lift time distance, which can be really good. Reasoning for the PECHAM Mouse Pad? Surface is made out of lycra which is a synthetic cloth beloved for its smoothness and elasticity, on top of that has a waterproof cover on top of that, with textures that enhance its stability. This sure will make any Razer deathadder smooth and fast when gaming because of it's speed and durability, as well as you will find it very comfortable, (I have) which is a bit pricy(20 dollars), but knowing your setup I think you can live with it's price. If you did want something that is cheap and insanely good mousepad, I would then recommend SteelSeries QCK as it is 7.99US and is really responsive and smooth. But it might be that the fact you just aren't happy with it as you don't feel comfortable. You may have a different opinion then like most people in this world, or you just are a bit spoilt.

Not really, people are saying they are getting it for under $30 and even slot less. For that price it is okay/good yes. When I made this video I paid over £30 in the UK which is over $40 USD. For that price it isn't good. Hopefully that makes sense

Yes, it's a very big mouse. If you are a palm user then with medium hands it should be fine. If you have small hands and still want a Deathadder look at the Deathadder Mini

Hi, there are a couple different versions of the Deathadder Essential now and lots of different Deathadders which may explain the difference. On this version at least, you must have the software from Razer to change the sensitivity

I really agree with you this mouse is for a very broke person who want a gaming mouse that fit their giant hand, the scroll wheel is grabo, the sensor is obnoxious and the no DPI is really annoying when you are multi DPI user, and the weight is horrible considering that just a little more money and you can get the Viper mini and the DA V2 mini i really don’t get why this thing even exists when many mouse like the G304 and Model D exist
