Even though this looked like a complete Razer campaign, I was pleasantly surprised to hear it wasn't that much. Very concise and to the point on the main differences on the mice. In my country it's a very big jump from the DA to the viper ultimate in terms of price, which is why I was looking at this video. Thanks for the good info

The multiple connection options also seem like a good fit for multiple PC set ups, say for streaming. You can connect your gaming machine via Hyperspeed, and your streaming machine via Bluetooth, and essentially have a button to swap between machines on the fly on the bottom.

Yep, that's why I'm looking into "downgrading" from Viper Ultimate to this DeathAdder V2. Bluetooth is key. I have my main PC and work laptop, and both plugged a large monitor (a 42 inch tv I use as a monitor). I could get a KVM or USB switch, but it's a lot of cables/cable management. A wireless keyboard (thinking of a Logitech or Razer one) and bluetooth mouse will work perfectly for instantly swapping between computers without the need of unplugging dongles or unplugging cables. I do like how my Blackwidow keyboard has a usb port, however I have a generic razer charging dock (which will also work for this DeathAdder) which has a free usb port, so having 1 free usb port is all I need, for charging or plugging in a flashdrive (my PC is 4-6 feet off to my side). Clean setup, easily swappable between multiple computers, still have a free usb port nearby, etc...

I have the MX Master and MX Keys from Logitech and I use them to swap between my main pc (connected via dongle) and my work PC (connected via BT) and also use the third slot to control my tablet

I haven't switched back to the Deathadder after I got my hands on the RVU, the 2 additional buttons on the RVU come in handy especially for quick on the fly media controls. I use my right mouse 5 button as a hypershift activator. Right mouse 5 + LEFT/RIGHT click for Previous Track and Next Track, Right mouse 5 + Middle mouse click for play/pause, and Right mouse 5 + Scroll wheel up/down for volume control. Right mouse 4+Left click for muting my mic.

To fix the charging dock, rub both the pins on the charging dock and the socket for the pins on the mouse with isopropyl alcohol using a q-tip (70% isopropyl alcohol worked fine for me)

I have the Razer Viper Wired and the Basilisk V2. My question is, what would recommend of the 3 wireless models of razer mice? Consider that im an fps main for the most part, but im a huge fan of the basilisk ergo design. Been using the viper wired most for fps gaming, trying to see the real difference

the viper ultimate w/ the dock was on sale for $99, it might still be if anyone wanted to buy it for themselves or as a gift. normally $150 w/ the dock. killer deal. viper mini is also $30 which is insane.

Only time will tell. My original Deathadder started double-clicking around 6 months after I bought it but then it stopped and never came back.

the mouse switch has me concerned. does it mean it requires no pressure to click? i feel like you'd be misclicking constantly going off what that sounds like. I desperately need to replace my sensei ten with a diff brand this time but I don't like mice with low pressure clicks. I was looking at a logitech gpx superlight but my gf has the g203 and i hate using it for the reason that i misclick a lot.

Thinking of ditching my VU for the V2Pro, had a GPW but it double clicked itself into the trash. Before then had a DA Chroma for 3+ years and it was great all around never failed but i wanted to ditch the wire. Unfortunately the vast majority of light weight wireless mice are all ambidextrous WHY? I'm left handed but use mouse with right, and I think most lefties do, even if statistically 10% of people are left handed that figure is surely lower when it comes to computer peripheral use. Making the majority suffer with non ergonomic shapes to accommodate the few lefties is asinine.
