I would appreciate if someone could help: I've been playing with wired v2 on 1.8 sensitivity in game, switched to v2 pro wireless and now 1.8 is faster on this mouse and when i try and adjust the sens to 1.75 and so on, it just isn't the same. any advice on how and why is it not the same and if it was the weight being heavier on the wireless v2, then 1.8 should have been slower not faster.

I have 16x8.89 cm hands and it is fine for me. I do a normal claw grip to it.

i have 17x9 or 17x10 or 18x10 hands somewhere around there and i can palm easily and maybe i can pull a claw..? but im not sure i use the wired version of the da v2 i have used it for almost 3 months

I find it hard to adjust to the shape of the Viper after years of using the DA Chroma. Can’t wait for this new DA to arrive in the mail!

It's very expensive, but it's a top tier performer and the best wireless ergo by far considering pure performance. I would say it's only worth if you REALLY want to get rid of the cable.

Glad i picked up this version of the mouse. i had the V2 wired version but the cable broke after 1 year and 1 month of use. horrible cable. before that i had the deathadder chroma. the cable outlived the mouse. but this wireless version of the mouse is just in any shape and form better then the V2 wired. if people can spare the money they really should pick this one up

Is is possible to use the wireless functionality (bluetooth/2.4g) while the usb cable is plugged into the pc?

yes. i recharge the mouse with a samsung charger so not plugged in to the pc. and i still can play wireless. so yes its possible. so if you want to use it wired you can do that. np

@@hausgaming exactly, i even tested both the mice, moved from 1 spot to another on the same sens but the distance covered in game by the v2 pro wireless was more than the wired one, its messed up!

i sent the mouse back too. it was so good but a bit to big for my hands. i keep the new razer viper ultimate mercury. it´s so good. the viper mini gave me insane aim but felt inconsistent sometimes and it cramped my hands. so i think I found my main

hey bro, if you had a mouse bungee, is there really a big difference between wired and wireless? i bought the viper and have until jan to return it and i LOVE it. viper mini was a bit too small as well as i felt the same exact way you did.. but man the viper is so good which kinda makes me wanna try wireless

I don't have the exact numbers and they are not specified by Razer sadly. But the battery life is very good in general.

Thanks man! Yeah, DeathAdder is mostly designed with a wider audience in mind, not necessarily the enthusiast scene. The DA V2 and the V2 Pro are great if you are in the demographic that the mouse is directed for 💪

@@hausgaming it can be found for £60 (with the dock on Amazon) sometimes. I think I will like the shape and like mice on the upper end of light (70-90 grams) and like light clicks. Worth?

Personally I strongly prefer the Elite/V2 shape to the V3 which is much more “EC-like”. The V3 is more comfortable to claw for me, but I’m a palm/relaxed fingertip gripper and I appreciate how much wider the V2 is compared to the V3 and I also prefer the height and shape of the V2 and its hump myself. Just my opinion of course, I expect this really comes down to your hand size and grip style. For me though I plan to pick up a V2 Pro come Black Friday as the new shape just isn’t for me - it’s good, really good even, but it’s no DeathAdder and I prefer the EC2 over the DA V3 if I want that “type” of ergo shape. The classic DA shape is unique as was the rival 310 - I’m not liking this trend of taking ergos, flattening out the right side, and basically copying Zowie’s homework. If I want an EC2 I’ll use an EC2. It honestly seems nuts to me that they would so dramatically change the legendary and beloved DA shape especially since it’s probably the best selling mouse of all time. If I were to wager a guess they got their feedback from reviewers and engineers that don’t really care for the classic DA shape rather than ones that do. The V3 really should’ve been branded as something else and I really hope this doesn’t mean it’s the end for the classic DA shape as for me it’s the most comfortable palm/relaxed fingertip mouse for my hands that I’ve ever used (I’ve used so many mice and ergos).

​@@opulan I honestly can't believe they are killing off the classic DA shape. It's iconic and imo probably still the most comfortable palm grip ergo and I don't even really think it's close. I mean, for me at least. I own so many ergos like the EC1 and they do "some things" better for sure, but at the end of the day classic DA shape is just the GOAT for me in terms of comfort in hand for my grip style + hand size. The mouse is was so popular too, kinda sucks to see them just abandon it. The DA V3 is great for the most part (though I don't like at all how they failed to round the corners under the clicks and I wish the finger ledge extended out a bit further) and it seems to be preferred generally by the claw gripping crowd. I really hope Razer eventually makes a DA classic successor or something. It's not perfect by any means, but the shape is too good to let die imo.
