your discord community pushed me toward the DAV3 and I have to say I can not be any happier, I normally subconsciously leaned toward smaller mice, but once I got the DAV3 in my hand it felt like an extension of my own arm.

!!!If your thinking about getting this mouse all i can say is.. DO IT!!! (For reference my hand size: 19cm from middle finger to wrist, 10cm from thumb to edge of hand) you will not regret it! Brought this 4 days ago, Got it Yesterday and honestly this mouse is by far the best in terms of comfortability, The weight of 64g is light in hand. The coating for me is the best ive felt in a mouse thus far, I had issues with the mouse being slippery but not this one! The clicks are amazing, the side buttons are perfectly sized the position of them are the best I've used. The scroll wheel is a lot smoother then the viper. I switched to KBM 4 months ago and I play palm started with a G703 and that was great but the clicks are a bit iffy, I then went to the GPX super and the side buttons became mushy and unresponsive, I then tried the Razer Viper ultimate but couldn't get a comfortable grip with it and sent it back then I heard about this and wow I'm beyond happy! Razer win the mouse market in the clicks & switches now the Death Adder V3 is a great for everything!

I love my DAV3 mouse. I can’t choose between it and the viper v2 pro, tho. I just end up switching between them whenever I perform badly with one during that period of time. Both great purchases, though neither shape seem to be easy to find a good grip for me personally. I just put the grip tape on and use my fingertips to hold the mouse for the most part, despite using claw. It’s weird trying to use these mice. Love them anyways.

Finally, the mouse that replaced the ec2 for me (my hand 18.5x10.5cm). I bought a white and a black one. I returned the white one in my hand, it seems bigger (surface treatment, most likely). in any case, white is for a humid environment or sweaty hands, black on the contrary. The white is really beautiful polar white, not a yellowish white like many others, but unfortunately the grip and the overall feeling was definitely the black version for me

@@carloscoldebella9450 I do not know off of the top of my head. But I also used the GPX before getting the VP2. And in the end, I went back to my GPX and G502 - as those two mice stayed my favorites even after using the Razer products for a few months. And earlier this week, I finally got my M2K in the mail and have been trying to get used to that mouse for the past few days in order to see how it compares to the G502X (which is what I was using primarily prior to the M2K arriving). Thus far, it's definitely an odd mouse adjustment considering I'm going from 103g of weight with the G502X to 24g of weight with the M2K LOL. It feels crazy to use! Sorry for digressing, but in the end, I began to hate all of the Razer mice. The software and lack of hand comfort (due to their shape and height design) has pushed me away from all Razer mice. My hand never gets sore or feels tense with a Logitech mouse, however, it does with the Razer mice (and even does after enough time passes with the M2K due to its super small size). But, of course, that's why I am trying to get used to the M2K. Because if I can adjust to it's ultra lightweight design, perhaps I can hold it differently so that it doesn't irritate my hand as time passes.

Is this good for a relaxed claw grip where the ring and pinky finger stay more vertical towards the back of the mouse? My hands are medium to large with 19,50x10cm. Note that my last ergo mice was the original steelseries rival. Since then I’ve been using symmetrical mouse’s since and the only one that made me feel almost 100% comfortable using was the original FK1 from Zowie. I been using the GPX for the past 2 years and I haven’t felt comfortable using it during that period, I was always trying to find a comfortable way to grip it and always readjusting. I’ve been trying the xm2we and the g303 shroud edition for the past week and none of them made feel comfortable also. Does anyone think the v3 pro would be a good choice? Thank you.

Hands: 19 by 11 cm Tbh the mouse is good no complains really. Is it "the best" Ergo mouse...no. Roccat Kone Pro wired (wireless version is a little bit too heavy) is far superior in every way to the DA V3. It has better coating, is lighter (albeit wired) and is way more comfortable and you aim better with it after extensive testing (not by much but still). Roccat Kone Pro is the best ergo mouse i've ever tested (and one of the best mice ever made imo in terms of ergo shape) and i have over 200 gaming mice here at home. Also the battery is a bit of let down. Shapewise even Ec2 is alot more comfy (but heavy unfortunately). Is it top 3 Ergo mice, definately Another big let down is the infamous shitty Synapse which won't save the profle you've made for DA V3. Which again is synonymous for Razer throughout the years: Great mice shapewise but quality issues in one way or the other whether we are talking defective mice or software. Always something. Very frustrating

With my deathadder Ive gone through 3 copies (2 black, 1 white) now and each one the right click goes to complete shit in about 2 weeks of usage, the left clicks have been fine. Also, my most recent copy which is the one I've owned for the longest now also creaks on both sides but it isnt extreme. I want to like the mouse but these issues make seem cheap or poorly made, these issues didnt really hinder my in game performance at all but the right click issue is enough to make me feel like im using something that is broken. With the RVU and Viper V2 it was the same issues but with both clicks.

Had this happen on my Viper mini after 3 months of use, and is not the switches, it's the plastic shell. These main buttons have underneath them some pegs that are aligned in some plastic rail (those pegs are suppose to minimize button wobble). If the pegs are not well made, they can scratch the side walls of the rail. The only way to fix that, is to open the mouse and lubricate those pegs with some silicone lube (or anything that doesn't affect plastic) so it doesn't grind on those rails.

There is the main one that makes direct contact to the mouse switch which I put some krytox on the sides of the rail that holds it in place then there is a much smaller post further behind on the mouse button that I also put krytox on. For good measure I also put did the same for the left mouse button even though I have had no issues with it so far. Also, sides of my mouse creak and flex so I put some double sided tape along the inside edge of the bottom plate which also completely fixed the creaking and reduced the flex. I had to cut small pieces of tape so they could fit along the edge without hanging out which can be annoying with bad scissors but other then that these were easy fixes.

Is there anything you like more about the GPX vs the DAV3? I went from GPX to starlight but the shape does not suit my hand in relaxed claw. I've been dying to try the DAV3 but I haven't pulled the trigger yet. I've been sorta waiting to see how the coating performed because that's fairly important to me.

@@ZWortek i do like the LMB and RMB clicks on the GPX more. they are lighter and are more crisp and also have literally zero post travel. the DAV3 have a little more post travel, but not enough to be a deal breaker for me. also, the battery life and charging speed is better on the GPX, as mentioned in the video. none of these are deal breaker. the most important thing - the shape - is better for me on the razer, so yeah :)

I got some creaking on mine as as well right on the thumb groove on the left side towards the bottom. I took some grip tape from razer's universal grip tape pack (the little strip one) and found the exact spot where it was creaking, pushed it in all the way to where it doesn't creak, then put the grip tape on top of it (where the side shell meets the bottom part of the shell). Completely removed the creaking. I'm autistic and mouse creaking is one thing I simply can't deal with so I'm glad I was able to fix it lol. Mouse has been amazing otherwise. I went back to my G604 for FF14 (for the side button) and it felt like a brick lol. And the shape of the DAV3 is just superior.

I've been maining the v3 since it released. I think there are several areas for improvement. The clicks are stiffer than I'd prefer, a lighter click is desirable for tactical shooters. The gold standard for clicks is Vaxee's Huano switch implementation. The coating is also just average. Once again, Vaxee leads the way with their amazing matte coating. Also, I prefer mice with rounded edges instead of razer's aggressive, pointy corners. As far as positives, the shape is quite good, overall. The ergonomics are subtle enough to not interfere with your aim. The click latency and sensor accuracy are the best on the market. Stock skates are comparable to any after-market replacement. All things considered, the pros outweigh the cons. This is the best wireless ergo option as of 2022

I just got mine yesterday and was on a G304/5 before it. I expected it to fill out my palm way more, but it doesn't (except when I claw it) cos of the how it slopes back down toward the wrist. It doesn't fill out the mid/back of my palm like the eggshell shape of the G304/5 does. All in all though the DAV3 is so much lighter and aiming feels easier on it by a lot. I fingertip it for the most part and pull it in to claw when I want that stability. I'm happy with it, but it'll take a little getting used to the feel.

This is gonna sound weird but i currently use a glorious model o, and i get hand cramps sometimes with it. Could be unrelated to it. But do you think going with the DAV3 with help with those hand cramps?
@discoRyne
@discoRyne Жыл бұрын
Please take time out to actively stretch your wrist and confirm your desk ergonomics / posture. Mouse-wise, you need to follow a tutorial to measure your hand and match it to a shape based off of that for the best match. You can't just assume an ergo case will fix hand cramps by default. But yeah, the DAV3 would probably help with hand cramps, lol.
@Mouthbreather777
@Mouthbreather777 Жыл бұрын
Well find out why you have cramps first. Do you grip too tightly? Should you start stretching before playing? Are you getting enough electrolytes/hydration? Potassium, sodium, etc? Lastly if you think you're being forced to use a grip style you don't like because of it then you just have to try a bunch of mice to see what you like. Try to figure out if you have any physical or diet deficiencies to take care of before you buy a 100+ dollar mouse

In my personal experience, using the model o most of my hand would rest on the table and get very uncomfortable over time. With ergo mice i find that the shape supports my hand more (especially the hump near the back). I think you should definitely try the DAv3 out or even the Model D/D Wireless which is cheaper to see if it helps with your cramps, my guess is it probably will.

I am on viper ultimate one and thinking about getting something new and white to match white huntsman mini keyboard(love it). I am a rather unique old style fingertip 1-3-1 gripper. Viper ultimate is excellent but my pinky kinda digs into the mouse on the right side. This is not at all suitable for 1-3-1 probably? Interested about glass pad too. I use just cloth razer pad but it's a pain to clean. What I look for in the pad is smoothness and silence. I don't want to hear or feel it. What pad do you use ? edit: btw scroll on viper ultimate sucks ass. Dock also. usb c would be great...

I hate the V3. I got it, used it, returned it. My main has been a wired Deathadder V2 for the last two years. The V3 is light to a fault, it's hollow feeling, and the coating is unuseable, and I refuse to put tape all over something that should have just been coated properly to begin wth. I don't understand how there is not a single negative review on this mouse? I'm waiting on the Zowie wireless to become available for purchase now. My advice, if you love the old Deathadder, don't assume you are going to love the V3, make sure you buy it from somewhere with a great return policy. To me... It's a huge step backwards for Razer, following a trend. It's weighted far too low, and it's loaded with features that don't matter in order to raise the price for those with massive gamer FOMO.

Love this mouse but my only complaint was the lack of rubber grips which I loved on the Viper Ultimate. IMO it's too slippery and hard to control without squeezing without the tape. I ended up returning the first one because while the tape is removable, it is very easy to stretch and distort the shape when you take it off and it didn't look good or fit quite right after I tried to reposition it. I was much more meticulous on the first application with the 2nd mouse. I assume at some point Razer will start selling standalone tape for this mouse like it does for other models. Does kinda suck because I feel like the buttons were slightly better on the first one I got. Definitely some manufacturing variance and QC tolerance
