brown Cherry MX are still pretty loud, defintely quieter than the Blue Cherry MX but the brown switches are easily twice as loud as this keyboard.

I picked up my deathstalker about a week ago now and for a non mechanical keyboard its really REALLY nice.

nope. It just turns into a dulled out white color but i never turn off the backlight anyways :D I thought i would but it is just too much of a hassle

not at all, i have not had any problems with my wrist sticking to the keyboard rest when typing or gaming.

my wrist gets a little sweaty and it has a mark of sweat there but it is only viewable when glare is on that area lol, you could get creative and take some of that stuff that goes on car dashes to make your phone stay there and put it on the wrist rest or something haha

i would have gone with the blackwidow but i got this keyboard for such a great price i just went for this keyboard and it works awesome for what i need - when it dies i will definitely invest in a mechanical keyboard like the blackwidow

[Question] How loud is the typing? I'm using a relatively flat keyboard that doesn't make much sound but it really annoys me how some keyboards make that loud *click* sound when ever i press a key. Just want to know if i have to wear earplugs under my headphones to not get irritated.

It sounds like a laptop keyboard but has a bit more of the bottoming out sound you would find on a mechanical keyboard, but very quiet. I like the sound of it a lot

it should be able to, i do not see why it wouldn't. The only reason they make Mac versions of the keyboard is because of the Windows key.

Wtf I got the same keyboard for Christmas Im even using it right now but how do I turn the back light on my keyboard keys arnt lighting up but the led indicators our and the keys even look like they should be lit up so how to I turn the backlight on?

This is the Deathstalker Expert, you probably have the Deathstalker Essential which doesn't light up like this one does. They are basically the same, but one has a backlight and the other does not.

I would recommend a different keyboard as for the price this isnt too good (for a rubber membrane keyboard) I would consider the Microsoft sidewinder x4 in addition to this, I used this for many hours of BF3 and it worked great

dude i fully recommend this keyboard for gaming IF! you wish to play on a laptop style keyboard and/or hit the windows key a lot as i used to do that with just the way i type and i got this keyboard and its helped me out so much, and if you like the flat style keys get this keyboard aswell as i believe it is fully worth it and i have been very impressed with what i got for my money

this is my favorite keyboard so far. i shifted from blackwidow even its mechanical it hurts my hands because its high and chucky keys.. not like this flat position very good and gently in the hands very fast typing and gaming feels like gliding fast.. do not be deceive that mechanical keyboard the greatest its up to you.. because many membrane keyboard are good like this one..

jmanturbo31 that would be interesting, i like mechanical keys a lot but id rather have the resistance of a membrane keyboard for low profile keys like these. I have always liked the keyboard on my samsung chromebook a lot (which is similar to the deathstalker expert keyboard when you look at it)
