Catch with the G Cloud is the wimpy chipset (not issue if cloud gaming- which I hate). Catch with the RE is the silly display ratio, big bezels and curved corners. They should have put an 870 in the G Cloud.

yep. The G-cloud is better thought out, they just skimped on the processor. the Edge is just bad design. it's a lazy product.

You don't need a big Processor to cloud game..you know that right. Unless your using it for Emulators too...other then then 720g SD is way more then enough.

The G Cloud is purchase made for Cloud gaming and older 16:9 Android games. The RE is made for modern Android games and to be a small tablet on the go. They both good in there own field. I thinks the RE is a tougher sell because One can buy a controller for any phone. The G Cloud being a solid one piece handheld can win customer over who just one to play Cloud games - it has a clearer identity.

Did GeForce introduce an update for 21:9 ratio options? My iPhone 14 plus can take advantage of most of the screen with smaller bezels on the top and bottom

yes but there is no phone with 21:9 aspect-ratio. İphone 14 plus has 19.5:9 aspect ratio. this aspect ratio is available in GFN app but most of the games do not support it.

From the reveal I didn't like the razer edge since it was detachable. I did buy the gcloud and had shadow pc on it and TV and loved it but I returned it and got a onexplayer mini . I think Logitech should launch a new model in black, give it 8gb of ram , Snapdragon 865 and sim slot for 4g lte

Same. I owned both and returned the edge. The 6e gave me no difference. Just in case I do have a 6e router

Yea it does. I have the Razer edge 5g model and the WiFi 6E uses the 6 ghz band network that’s available with WiFi6 networks. It’s gonna be super fast on that band in terms of network and streaming performance. Everything other device uses the 2.4 ghz and 5 ghz network bands.

In Geforce Now you’re able to change the aspect ratio to 21:9, 1680x720 is what i run on my iPhone.

@@GameFusionCloud very interested, I use parsec to get my games to run on non native pc aspect ratios like 20:9. Would love to see more on getting custom resolutions when game streaming. I can't get steamlink for instance to respect that kind of resolution outside of the UI.

I have both and if the RE was a standalone unit(I hate the detached pad😭) it would be my go to. But the G Cloud just fits man. I’m a 110% cloud/emulation/android gamer! Only time I find myself playing the Edge is with the controller off playing hearthstone 🤣

I actually ended up returning the gcloud and going for the razer edge. I knew the joycons wouldn’t last on the g cloud and they are not replaceable. I think in a handheld market replaceable joycons are vital. Idc if I have to pay $100 a year later for some more joycons, rather that than end up paying for a whole new system. The wifi 6 chip, oled screen, 144 hz refresh just dominates the g cloud. The kishi controller feels better in your hands if you like playing shooters or fast paced games. The g cloud would be great if you played farm sim, simulator or a super casual games. Like Hogwarts legacy, Skyrim, rdr 2 would be great on the g cloud////destiny 2, call of duty, fortnite ect would be better on the razer edge. I will say the screen size on the g cloud is amazing all handhelds need that size of a screen with no bezels. The g cloud would also be better for young kids because the edge has to be handled a little more carefully. Both are good but def go with razer edge. Better quality all around. The refresh rate, oled screen and wifi 6 chip make for seamless cloud gaming. Games actually look better on the edge than my LED curved monitor because of the oled screen.

I am more interested in the abxylute, since it's a gcloud but hopefully with a dpad good enough for platformers and casual fighters. As well as sticks that have a better dead zone. I am going with the rd magic 8 because I think even with bars in games that don't support custom resolutions looked legible and big enough on the edge. But if the g cloud had good controls I wouldn't even be here 😆 it would of been a no brainer. That said I am now kinda excited to mess with android games.

Plus your looking at $250 after Shipping for the abxylute...I wouldn't be be surprised if they don't fix all the UI problems...not to mention, I wouldn't feel comfortable about them warranty there products...stick with a great company..Logitech there already fixing UI issues, it'll just keep on getting better...like the added controller matting

I'm probably not the first to say this, but I prefer my Steamdeck for gaming. For cloud streaming, I just use my Tab S8+ or my iPad Pro. I could game on my phone with the old SD870, but I never do, even though I got the kishi for it.

I disagree completely. The Razer Edge has a gorgeous AMOLED screen, is a powerhouse for emulation and can play Vita and Switch games which the G cloud can not!
