Razer Junglecat Review - Should you buy it?

Ignore the terrible game playing - hard to talk and play at the same time, especially with a stand in the way. Also, the RP2 is 120hz - slip of the tongue there.

Constructive take and insight here. I purchased the Kishi, Jungle cat, and the X2 to find something that would replace the Xbox/ps4 controller pairing to phone - too much latency if streaming steam content locally on 5Ghz LAN. An example is fallout 4 - shooting with a P90 is typically somewhat acceptable in terms of delay. Still, the real challenge is when precise input is needed, and the controllers had this issue. The Jungle cat, low-latency Bluetooth module gave no comparable, discernable delay to the controllers. The Kishi had zero. To your point, it is a solution that can work for some; I had a difficult time with it, however. Enjoyable your experience with the lower-left corner cracking in the plastic. It's an excellent delivery for a concept to achieve a 'switch-like' experience. I was thoroughly impressed with the controller function component and the portability. The quite ridiculous setback on Razer is compatibility with just 3-4 phones. Such a great device, but maybe the added cost for packaging and sales of additional cases (and to keep up with the endless dimensions in phones anymore, probably was an oversight). Perhaps it was just a concept to please the shareholders for the near term. Thank you for your insight; I liked your analysis

I have one. It sucks. Bought it new for $50usd. I try to use a supported game,doesn't work. So I ckeck the input tester, all the inputs work. So would I suggest it, of you play ashpaly nine go ahead, if you play deer hunting 2018 don't. It doesn't work right.

Yes, but not in switch form. It may not be worth it due to cheaper alternatives. Or you could wait for the Kaiju

The biggest problem is that it doesnt work for ios but atleast the phone i have is a limited edition iphone 6s so i could sell it for a razer phone or android

yeah it seems like this was a stepping stone. That said, I see several advantages with the Junglecat for phones that are compatible.

Was gonna say 120hz but watch the power button. Mine just busted after about 7 months. Can't get it fixed

On the Junglecat? Yeah I have been a bit concerned about that, they are a bit more fragile than I'd like, and really contrast against all the other buttons on the controller. Thanks for the feedback and sorry to hear about that :/

It should work with any Bluetooth phone, but it only has cases for specific ones

@@T4nkcommander hmm yeh, they are SUPER small. I can try to get a soft silicon clear case, try to cut it with scissors to fit over the joycons then customize them. If that doesn't work, I'll still put a decal on it. you can usually cut decals however you want. It just won't last as long. I'll have to buy a new decal sooner than later. for the protecting of the back of the case, you can definitely get a soft silicon phone case to put over it, cut the ends off and only have it fit on the back so you can still slide the joycons on it. you could also customize that as well ^-^. soft silicon is easier to cut than hard plastic so that may be my best bet. I am about to buy the jungle cat and anxiously awaiting my note 9 arrival. i literally bought a note 9 so i can play emulator games and customize it all cutsey like a switch lite lolol. I did a little bit of research, and a good carry case to keep it all in would be a switch lite carry case with a bungee netting, velcro, lots of padding and a zipper to zip it closed. ^-^ btw I really liked your video! keep up the good work ^-^
