The kishi v2 fits/works amazingly with my s22. I think owning a switch lite makes it feel at home for me personally, but I could be wrong. It did retire my switch, though, between emulation and gamepass phones are an amazing gaming platform only rivaled by a PC imo.

Having looked into this for some time now, GameSir seems to be best (relatively affordable) option. I’m ordering one now for my iPhone. Up until now I’ve been playing a number of games on my phone with touchscreen controls like WWE 2K22, Star Wars Squadrons, Dirt 5 and loving it (I even posted a few vids) but it’s time to give a good controller a go.

I don't see anything in particular that would make me pay extra to upgrade (or downgrade) my Kishi v1 to Kishi v2. The new nexus app is clean and absolutely a nice launcher, but it's free and can be used with the V1, except for the mapping feature. I wouldn't mind upgrading to that Gamesirx3 tho...

I was thinking about the gamesir but the triggers being a click instead of a analog is a no go because I stream actual games that uses console like triggers. So I'd go with the Kishi 2. I have the Kishi 1 and it's still good.

Yeah that is understandable. Another great option to consider that we haven't posted our review yet is the Gamevice Flex. It looks like the Kashi V1 but in our opinion everything feels better across the board. It's what we thought the V2 would be like. We still enjoy the V2 and it has its own advantages like the great mapping buttons but just wanted to let you know about the Gamevice Flex if you haven't heard of it.

Sorry for that last response (which I deleted). I thought this comment was on our recent PS5 Dualsense comparison. But to answer your question. Yes! We have used all of these controllers and have videos on each of them separately showing how they work. In all of our testing they pretty much work the same way and do the same thing. So we felt that the best thing to show was the difference of how each one feels and how the buttons work. If you want to know more about each we have videos for each controller talking specifically about how they each function.

Oh, the neverending problems of choice for mobile gamers. Telescopic controllers haptically aren't for everyone. Fine for some, but not for others. Some have stability problems (especially floppy ones like the Kishi V1), putting stress on your phone's usb socket. Gamepad shape controllers are, naturally, perfect for that proper gamepad experience we all know and love. Their problems are usually just cheap parts, and the higher priced ones feel and work perfectly. BUT Bluetooth latency! Some are "less worse" than others, but they're all inherently inferior to a direct USB connection, particularly noticeable and possibly deal-breaking for streetfighter type games. Some of them allow a wired USB connection to eliminate blutoof latency. But then you can't charge your phone anymore for longer playing sessions! Which in turn some telescopic controllers allow. But they don't feel and handle like proper gamepads, naturally. Oh, the endless vicious cycle, that prevents us from getting the ultimate, perfect phone controller for all occasions. There's always a weighted compromise neccessary. For finding it, reviews like this are important, so we gamers don't spend our money prematurely.

If you're ok with Bluetooth, we think MOGA xp7-x plus and Nacon mg-x pro are the best. If you don't want Bluetooth, we do think the Gamesir and Backbone are better than the V2 for button mashing. The Gamesir X3 buttons are lighter than the Backbone but we find them less so than the Kishi which will sometimes lead to accidental presses or missed button presses. I think if we had to pick a winner between those two for buttons, we are leaning towards the Backbone just because the Gamesir is still too light for our liking. We hope this helps

Backbone already has an android version. and it doesn’t matter whether it’s the PS version or not. They all work equally with any system. We’ve used the so called “Xbox” version on PlayStation many times and it works just fine. You can find it here: amzn.to/3IS8Nzk If you are looking into handheld controllers right now you might also want to check out the Gamevice Flex! We just got that and reviewed it about a month ago and it’s amazing! I personally think it’s a lot like the backbone but more comfortable to hold and with better sticks and triggers! Here’s a link if you want to check it out: amzn.to/3mnDS6A If you want to see our review on it you can find that here: GAMEVICE FLEX ! Oh that's a tough call. We had the kunai 3 and rog 5 (really enjoyed them) but if you're looking for the closest option it might be the Kishi V2. There are definitely some differences though. The buttons are lighter and more clicky on the Kishi V2. The dpad is also clicky but not very. If you're ok with the Bluetooth options, you may even consider the power a mog xp7 or nacon mg-x pro. We have the Nacon but haven't had a chance to unbox or review it yet but we have heard good things.

The Gamesir is for me the best but the lack of analog triggers😔 The Kishi Meh !!! It's a carbon copy of Backbone🤦🏽‍♂️ If I want a backbone, I buy a backbone. Great video guys. Keep it up!!! 👍 I’d like to be part of the giveaway. I would choose the GameSir. Do you know if you can use the GameSir with a case? I have the iPhone version 1 of the Kishi and it’s an amazing mobile controller. Buttons are a bit mushy but that’s about the only negative I have. You get used to it. Any one of these controllers are awesome for gamers who have GamePass Ultimate or stream from their console. Played some TMNT on the V1 Kishi this weekend when TV was occupied and it felt like I was playing natively on a console. Diablo immortals felt good too as a mobile game. I’d say pick up one of the last years versions on a discount and save some $. You can’t go wrong. Cheers

I'm probably gonna go with the razer kishi v2 but the gamesir x3 is very tempting. Edit: After seeing the moga xp7-x plus, I know I have to change my product to it. Also it's guaranteed to work since it's Bluetooth where as on the kishi v2 or gamesirx3 it might not even work.

@@CompleteGeekTV They really do have their own pros and cons but those pros and cons can change based on preference. For example, the razer kishi v2 has light and clicky buttons which some people don't like. But I saw a video about the razer kishi v2 and in that video the person really liked the click and the lightness of the buttons. I personally never had a controller so I never really knew which style I liked. But I'm pretty sure that I won't regret choosing the razer kishi v2. One thing I want to know is can you use a USB c to micro USB adapter? Btw, do you guys have a schedule for when the livestream is because Iive at somewhere that is pretty different from American time.

We have not found that to be the case! We have probably used the the Gamesir x2 more than any of them since that was our favorite from the last generation of controllers and it feel studied and better built than both the backbone and Kishi in my opinion. Now with the new Gamesir X3 I would say it’s even better built! I’ll just say this. In our last comparison on the original Kishi, backbone, and Gamesir x2 we tried to get a shot of the controllers falling from the sky because we thought it would look cool. We set pillows up so they didn’t just hit the ground but they all bounced off and hit the ground anyway. When we did that the backbone broke, the Kishi was okay and the Gamesir looked like it had never been touched! So the short version is the Gamesir is not built cheaply, in fact I believe it the most durable and well built of the 3

At the time of this review, we only had the Type C android version so we weren't able to test and still can't try it. However, we have read that it iphone version will fit with 13 pro max. The only complaints we see is that the iPhone’s camera bump doesn’t allow for a flush fit. It will slightly stick out on the side of the camera bump. We read it's not enough to be problematic, but definitely unsightly and I feel like it’s not as secure. We read it doesn't fit well or at all with cases but may depend on the case. We hope this helps.
