I was tempted in getting a V2 the other day but the price was really high, £100 from most retailers and the lowest I could find was £70 from online sellers so I couldn't justify paying that much for a controller I am only using for Genshin Impact. I picked up a second hand V1 for £25 second hand today and it works perfectly, honesty I am really impressed with this controller despite some very minor nitpicks like the lack of spacers and the grip could be slightly better, but for the price I got it for I can't complain.

Good video, thanks. One small bit of constructive criticism. Batman may seem like a twitch game that needs lightning fast reactions to counter etc. but actually it's much slower paced than you think. E.g. Counters are on screen for a LONG time, about a second plus, the window is VERY generous. Would do better to try an actual twitch reaction game like an FPS or fast racer.

It definitely worth the upgrade over the garbage of the gamepad the v1 still is today. I got my Kishi V2 at msrp and haven't regretted it ever since, plug in a usb-c extension cable and you have yourself a nice pc game controller as well. The shorter travel distance with the Switch style sticks also means you can reduce movement in the ball and joint of your thumb for much reduced joint fatigue and increased gaming sessions.

I just got the 2. I've had the one for a few months. Huge upgrade in small ways. I think the joycons are a way better choice for the phone. I feel the short sticks and short screen match way more than regular size sticks. Maybe I'm just real used to the switch. While I'm still trying to just eliminate another handheld and take full advantage of my cloud services. The 2 deff feels like I'm playing on more of a console than the first one which I feel is like hey now my phone can play good games. Button placements and movement just really make it an easier gaming experience. Best example I can give is fps games. Really feel with the original I am having to move my hands more my fingers more and awkward to move my sights around is chore like. With the 2 it is fluid your hands are in place unless you're stretching them during breaks. I have this strange desire to keep my phone as my steamdeck and the 2 super helps.

RE: The dedicated screenshot button. Is there a way to disable the insanely loud shutter sound that it plays when you take a screenshot with that dedicated screenshot button? Even if you have earbuds on it plays a LOUD shutter sound out of the phone speaker, not the earbuds. I see no options for it in the Nexus software. I have the shutter sound turned off at the OS level in the camera app and via the button combo for system screenshots. Pressing that dedicated button on the Kishi V2 still blasts a LOUD shutter sound through the phone speakers when you press it. It's so loud that it will turn heads in a room. As a result, I will never use that button because it's incredibly annoying to others around you. I've reached out to Razer support but so far I've not heard back from them on whether or not this is something that is intended (which would be insane IMO - making such a LOUD sound mandatory is absolutely something you should speak to if that were the case, because it's enough of an issue to recommend avoiding the use of the button if annoying those arounds you is a concern) or if it's an issue and needs to be updated.

I have the kishi v1 and the only downside about it is that the flex cable that goes with the elastic band when you fold it down tends to rupture and it gives an error that one side of the controller doesn’t works over time. What i did with mine is that I bought on ebay a few spare cables to change it when it ruptures again. Honestly the v1 controller works amazing and don’t see any real “upgrade” with the new v2, but that’s my opinion 🤷🏽♂️. I had mine v1 for over a year now and the only thing that malfunction was that flex cable but its an easy and cheap fix honestly.
@Kielbass2 жыл бұрын
hey man! could you elaborate on that flex cable part :D how easy is it to fix it if it goes funky?
@alexgr872 жыл бұрын
@@Kielbass for what I have read everywhere I could, that's a common issue with the v1. Because you fold the controller over time the internal flex cable raptures and malfunctions. I bought a pack of like 10 cables for like 7 bucks I think. And the fix is relatively easy if you are not afraid using screw drivers and opening it up. To be honest I gave mine to a friend that is more skilled than me to do it but for what I could watch its easy, next time I will do it myself. You just have to remove the 5 screws on each side of the controller and with a pry tool or like a guitar pick you can open it up. The conector to the cable on each side is right there you can't miss it. Just be careful because the conector has like a lock that you have to open first and then close after you put the new cable. I will leave you the link for the cable here www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09R9CXVP6/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
