Razer Kiyo Update 3: Firmware Update made it worse!

12/8/2022 report: Updated from 1.01 to 2.03. Annoyed with camera settings reverted each time. The consequence of this firmware update had similar results. The camera could not focus Solution:I uninstall 'razor kiyo' in device manager, unplugged and replugged device. My issue caused by 2.03 was fixed

Bro, i gonna have this webcam on my hands next week, would you recommend to stay with the default firmware? thanks for the video

If it works out of the box don’t worry about it. If it has issues try updating it

Have you called Razer & given them your webcam serial number & explained the issues? There are known hardware issues with certain serial number batches. If it's still under warranty they will replace it for free when you ship yours back to them.

My camera has already been replaced by Razer multiple times. This has been one video of many of the horrible experience I have had with Razer and their products. It is a love-hate relationship because a few of their products are unique and I can’t get anything like elsewhere which makes it more annoying because they also have issues.
