One thing I loved about the old naga was the amount of buttons were great for playing games like Doom, Quake, Deus Ex HR and how you can switch weapons and abilities on the fly while keeping your hand on WASD cluster. Really happy they done an optical refresh and might consider picking one up.

Exactly! I just ordered the Trinity, because my Naga`s wheel click stopped working and I can not understand why they advertise it as a MMO mouse, when it works so well for every game. I love how I can quick-switch in Doom Eternal and still have the buttons on the keyboard available. It is a great mouse, period.

@@BuBBle.D Oh yea, the added buttons playing the likes of DOOM 2016/Eternal, Quake Remaster, Dusk and Amid Evil makes it a godsend. I just ordered mine when it was selling for cheap on Amazon (sub-£50 GBP) and I'm having a blast with it. It pairs really well with the Huntsman TE.

Your video was super straight-forward and informative. Thanks!! Razer recently made me a life-long customer. Their customer service is unbelievable. Contacted customer support for an issue with their software. It came up the lights had gone out a few months after buying the Naga. The guy checked the warranty and realized I still had over a year left. They don't make the OG Naga anymore so they upgraded my FREE replacement to the Trinity. It will arrive Wednesday and I'm even more pumped about it now.

I bought a Naga Hex V2 recently just to try it out. I was aware a laser sensor has issues, but what killed it for me were small movements. Can't track pixel by pixel like my Deathadder Elite or Logitech G502. Honestly, you can spend $30 and get the Havit MMO gaming mouse. It has a different shape but it has a 3360, or the Corsair scimitar, somewhat of a naga shape but with a 3367 for $50.

I'm an FPS gamer and this is the only mouse I've used since I built my PC 6 years ago. I use the 12 numbers for FPS gaming. I use them for leaning, crouch, prone, flashlight, and more. I've never had to learn to reach all around my keyboard like most gamers and I don't want to. Most people I game with say I've got some of the best movement in shooters and I attribute a lot of it to using an MMO mouse.

Great review, but I've been a Razer Naga user for almost 6 years now. I've had the same problem happen to both mice about 2-3 years in. The Scroll wheel. Something on it breaks, and it becomes "Jumpy". So here is a quick warning for anyone who is thinking about buying. The scroll wheel MAY become faulty. Flicking your mouse too quickly can cause a scroll wheel movement (Up or down) and make you switch weapons mid-fight (This happens to me on Siege a lot; when I flick to check my flanks). Also, use of the scroll wheel becomes handicapped. Scrolling up or down goes in irregular intervals and sometimes goes the opposite direction. Aside from that, the only warning is with the 12 buttons themselves. Once you become used to it, it's hard to play MMOs and even some shooters without them. I personally tried to play FF14 without a naga recently and I couldn't even do 1 full dungeon. And having 12 extra buttons for other games, such as ARMA 3, is a god send. You can set those buttons to whatever you want. Radio, Binoculars, Compass, Zeroing, Fire Rate, NV/FLIR, the list could go on. Good versatile mouse, but be warned of that scroll wheel.

Try to use a electronic dust blower and blow into the scroll wheel gaps into the scroll wheel sensors. This is because hair/dust may get stuck in there causing the "jumpy"-ness.

the new headset, chair, computer screen, mouse and arm rest for the keyboard, show they aren't hitting that berg anytime soon except for the screen all those new products have these rumble shakers in them that go off of the surround sound in the game. so when u fire or a enemy fire or a sword clashes or what ever there is a shaking/rumble from the direction it comes in. that's what the chair is for basically for any sounds coming from behind u. obviously only sounds that would normally have base put into them still gets the base but they also get that rumble to really immerse u into the situation ur in. linus did a video on it at ces stuff looks amazing

Bought the Naga Trinity because I wanted to try something new after the somewhat aged logitech G600 (still a great mouse for mmorpg players, but with the double-click issue happening from time to time on mine there was time for a change). Based on reviews (including yours, thank you very much for this really deep and thorough review) and having already a razer keyboard I decided to try it out, and this what I can say about it so far: - Shape and ergonomics are fine, and they are comfortable enough to use. Not ideal for people with large hands like me, but the size of the mouse is (I think) about the same as the G600, so it boils down to getting used to the slightly different shape of the Naga Trinity, with the right finger rest lying lower than on G600. - Optical sensor of the mouse is amazing and very precise, as a personal opinion it is better than the G600 laser sensor and that made a noticeable difference playing FPS games, at least for me. - Quality build of the mouse is overall fine, with one notable exception. I personally liked the slightly more futuristic design of the G600 a bit more, still, Naga Trinity looks and feels good and the RGB options are an improvement compared to G600. - The option to change the side panels allows great versatility, and is a unique Razer feature which other mice don't give you in such well crafted implementation. However, one thing that disappointed me about the mouse is the scroll wheel, it does not sit as good and firm as on G600, it does rattle slightly on mine as well (would appreciate other people who got it commenting on this), it is loud and its movement is very tactile and not smooth. Do you also have the feeling that the wheel sits somewhat loose in its "socket" and sticks to the finger a bit while using it, making it bounce a little sometimes? Don't know if its normal, maybe it is, because otherwise it wouldn't rattle on yours as well.

Brilliant, very glad you reviewed this mouse. I have the Naga Hex V2 which I used quite a lot before swapping to the Logitech G403 in Quake Champions. It is interesting to see the difference between the two razer mice. I went with the Naga Hex V2 mainly because of the 7 side buttons, I find it easy to change weapons using the mouse buttons than with a keyboard - mainly a preference thing. Unfortunately aiming with the Naga Hex was a little tricky, hard to get an accurate shot. Hopefully the top sensor means a more accurate shot and from your video you got some pretty sweet shots off with it (although I think that your skills and experience of Quake may have helped there to). I like the look of the software to. Don't think I could cope with 12 side buttons, but having the option of two and seven buttons at the side certainly interests me. I hope to be purchasing this very soon, thanks RJN :-).

I've had the Razer Naga Chroma for 3 years maybe. I've lost track tbh.. I found the Trinity for under $20 on ebay, which is cheaper than I've paid for my past mice. I've had 2 others before my current, possibly going onto my 4th the past 9 years now maybe... lol For awhile I've had a problem with regular scroll so have had to use the side to side for scroll. While now the wheel click doesn't work anymore. I've not been doing much gaming but still love these mice for daily use. They're so comfortable to use. At the time I'd just be using probably the piece with just the 2 buttons and grip as games I play on and off lately, do not need the number keys. I love my mouse for comfort, I love the 2 keys up top to go back and forth page. My current mouse is basically exactly the trinity just doesn't have switchable pieces, just the 12 button keypad. Which I only use for MMO games and others that may need a number key pad. So be very handy to switch that out but then if I do have games I want the number keys for.. be neat. Each seems to last between 2-4 years with a lot of use and fair enough care. Just be careful how you pack it when you travel with it if use laptops. I've occasionally brought when at my Grandma's for many house or on trips out of state for long periods. So to anybody considering, I just recommend packing them in their original package or in something else where they can be safe from the buttons being possibly messed with. I've learned this the hard way with 1 of my razer mice. It messed up the left click which was something I couldn't even just sit and deal with. I could with my current, but however the wheel/scroll click is SUPER handy in art for me and I do love sticking to Razer as I've enjoyed it very much than any mice I've ever used. Any others I ever use that aren't mine I'm like... bleh! They're just so comfortable. I know there are other brands that are good but I just been enjoying how smooth, handy and comfortable overall they are. :) Sorry message a bit long.. but just thought I'd share my experiences with a mouse that's basically exactly the same minus the switchable pieces! Also I have the same exact mouse pad! :D I've been using it for a few or so years now. I have cats, and they're always sitting on it.. + claws.. it's not even snagged on the surface while the frame edges only have a couple of snags.

Joseph Torres the sensor is just as good so there isn’t any latency issues, I don’t see why you would need more than 2 buttons, it’s very light which is great, battery lasts 60 hours and the sensor turns off when you aren’t using it, great shape, and wireless just feels great you don’t have to worry about the wire getting in the way, it’s one of the most used mice by esports players too.

good quality, feels super premium, only lasted a year. the left/right click button started double clicking. there is a way to fix it by opening up the mouse however it's very difficult to do without destroying it (is now in pieces in a plastic bag). get something better.

this is my current mouse, replacing a naga epic. far better feel. the Epic did have adjustable left side rest for a large med or small rest size. they do make a lefty version as far as i'm aware.

Can't wait for the new Corsair wireless mouse review. I'm in love with its pinky rest and considering switching to it from my G403. Also please make a review of Apple's Magick Mouse just for shits and giggles. Thanks for your work Zy!

Had a 2014 Naga which recently died. Bought the trinity a month ago and as a wow/ CS/ OW and sometimes MoBa player I got to say that I love this mouse. It feels waaaay better than the Naga 2014. would recommend it 100%

I'm still rocking a 2011 Naga and it's starting to deteriorate slowly. Just saw this on the shelf at Best Buy, unfortunately they didn't have it on display to try it. I might get this for x-mass

Swanny 7 before I had the 2014 I head the 2011 molton core I think, and I already loved this naga. But I just got a great giant mousepad + the trinity...all I can say is that it feels like Quality. The extra weight on the trinity comes in super nice and feels awesome. It's just gliding over the mousepad, super smooth

@Sammich885 жыл бұрын
I'm pretty sure it was designed with games in mind that you'll put your more often used skills on 12345 and 67. So naturally on the mouse, the keys 12345 is the easiest buttons to press while 6 and 7 is served as extra. Otherwise if it's 1-7 in that order the 12367 will be easier to press which leaves the 4 and 5 harder to press.

I wached the whole damn thing it was good that You talked about all that stuff like shapes etc. But next time please tell that it is a sponsored review at the beggining not the end of the vid. Cheers!
@RocketJumpNinja6 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching! But it's not sponsored. They sent it out and I thanked them for it, but I get to say whatever I want and they didn't pay me at all for the video. They also didn't tell me to say anything. It's just how these reviews work - all companies send products to me for review. That's the end of communication, usually. Never been paid by any of them.

Man. I've been watching you since last year and I gotta say, your reviews have really helped me pick out mice to test. Unfortunately for me, I haven't been able to find a mouse that suits me perfectly. since last year, i've tested 6 different mice trying to find a good mouse for the games I play (those include the Steelseries Rival 310, Corsair Glaive, Razer Deathadder Elite, Logitech G403, HyperX Pulsefire, and now the Steelseries Rival 600) and none of them are exactly what I need. My main issue is the right side of my mice. my hands are around 7 inches long and I have trouble comfortably being able to fit my ring and pinky fingers with my mice. I've wanted a mouse that had a nice ledge on the right side for my ring/pinky finger to sit on but its almost impossible to find one made for FPS or that are around the same size as the deathadder/Rival 600 or that use a good sensor. This mouse looks like it could be a pretty good option but im not 100% sure. Its really infuriating to me when I cant play at my best because I cant grip my mouse correctly (i've thought it might be my grip technique. I use palm. but im not doing it incorrectly) I just haven't been able to find a good mouse for my hands. I hope if you see this maybe you will respond and give me some suggestions? My next best guess was to get a Zowie mouse but I just need a mouse that has a good grip on the right side or a ledge for my fingers.

I like the mousewheel to have side clicks like in g502. I still believe g502 to be the perfect MMO mouse. Even though it doesn't have that many buttons, it has that one extra large thumb button that feels so slick + more extra aren't really needed as you can easily combo them ALT+Button, SHIFT+Button, CTRL+Button, etc. It's also way better to have any additional buttons on your keyboard instead of mouse for comfort.
@HordurSmariJohannesson7 жыл бұрын
I use the macros a lot for every day usability and work but the side buttons are not good for a good hold in tight situations, I bought a different mouse for Quake Champions, I had no idea Razer was coming out with this. Swapping out the side panels should be great for my scenario.

just found your channel because i feel my 20 dollar redragon m901 mouse needs an upgrade. i've grown so used to the 1-12 side buttons on the m901 i default my sprint and crouch to the side 1 and 2 buttons. you guys should try that sometime. this review sold me. the m901 i have is definitely not an fps mouse.....the sensor is very jittery/microstuttery. this mouse looks like it would feel nearly the same and provide what i need. i would like to know if/when you will be testing the steelseries rival 650? i think i will get the razer naga trinity for all around use but i may want a specific mouse for shooters but the sensor on this seems just perfect

You're all over the place haha choose a size, might help narrow it down. FK2 FTW!
@Sirinava7 жыл бұрын
I have that too, love the FK2 for buttons (feel lighter than fk1 version I have) but its just that little bit too small. Feels like my hand is always touching the pad. Deathadder - Too wide at the grip width and rubber sides always feel sweaty even when theyre not. Logi G102 - dat shape, FK1 - damn huano switches - but perfect size shape. Logi G400s - my old school - but too old :D I also have many more but theyre not in the running - The logi 102 is my go to atm for fps. So light and responsive. Ah well .. The hunt goes on.

I also feel like I need two. One for work and comfort, one for fps.
