This device has questionable layout. Shifted ctrl and shift and oddly positioned spacebar are big no-no. And if i can get used to shift and ctrl by just remapping them and play for a while, there is no button for comfortable spacebar location and also wheel is nearly useless and d-pad has very few use cases. But the shape of this thing and ability to place it wherever your palm feels comfortable is a real thing.

I moved wasd to the thumb stick, then map the other keys accordingly. I think it is a waste of input options to use thee fingers for 2d movement

i had a stroke this year and only have left hand function. being able to see all angels and watch an actual review truly helped with my decision. I'm really glad i came across this review. Controllers just don't feel comfortable no matter how much practice, at least for me. So I might give my PC games a try!

@@danward7095 yes I did I’ve been playing with it for a few months now! I mainly play evil dead at the moment but it was fairly easy to get used to. You just have to attach a mouse to it so as to aim and interact with one hand. It took maybe a day to get used to it. It was well worth the purchase. But I haven’t tried aim and shooting games like cod. If you want you can message me somehow and I can show you how I put everything together. It’s very simple :) idk how ppl can private message but I’ll figure it out lol

It's frustrating being so confined to what games I can play mouse only atm so I was just searching the Web to try find something that could possibly expand the games I can play. I'm honestly a gaming noob so don't really have a clue lol. But yeah any advice you can give will be greatly appreciated!

@@danward7095 it’s literally only attached with some double sided tape lol but it’s really good quality tape. I used one piece on it like 2 months ago and it’s still holding up. And it still removes easy if I have to. You do have to remove the bottom of the keypad though so it can actually move across the desk or mousepad. Just an FYI :)

I really wanted the white version but decided to listen to you Gamer Heaven and went with the V2. I personally have to disagree that these keys are good due to the noise they produce. Yes, they are satisfying to click, and I would love this for a keyboard. However, on the V2 it was too distracting and cannot get my head around people using this with that sound level. However, I decided to remove the metal parts inside and now theres no noise and silent, but still satisfying. I also know that the V2 is better for other reasons, so still glad I chose this one and went with your review anyway. thanks,

How soft are the key presses when you bottom out on the stroke. My current mechanical logitch keyboard is hurting my fingers. How soft does the bottom stroke compare vs the pro version.

If you are talking a out the "thumbstick" on the right, then no. It is a d-pad with 8 activations (cardinals and diagonals).

No. It isn't a true analog stick. You are better just using it as separate buttons. On warzone I have my field upgrade, armour plates, tactical and lethal bound to a direction each.

Ditch the 8-way diagonal shit (looks like a sun) and just rebind the 4 quadrants(looks like a Cross) to "WASD", it should work as intended. I've been using it for 2 years and no issues. A bit of a learning curve/muscle memory but it's so effective, I can't even play any game without it.

I have a Tartarus v1 and works fine on warzone etc. You just can't change the layout but still can map the buttons as you want in the options

Thumb down because you advertise a bugged product. Tartarus v2 got a auto-run bug when playing any game. The bug is in the Synapse 3 software, been there in the Synapse 2 and never been fixed by Razer

@@n1njacslibur Yes and its the worst! I used to just ignore it because it's was only on occasion. But it drove me absolutely nuts last week. Happened multiple times in an hour. I legit only play Minecraft and have to hold onto shift for dear life because I can't trust the keypad to not Yeet me into lava or into the void when I release W. I couldn't imagine playing anything competitive with it. You will straif right in to someone else's crosshairs. I watched another video where someone found a workaround but you have to buy another software. It's really inexpensive and supposedly works but you basically sacrifice your rgb settings. Razer needs to hurry up with the fix because this thing has been bugged for the longest. Until then I'm gonna try out the 3rd party software
