got a dream cables paracord today, ended up snapping the two front connectors on the bottom shell when trying to put it back on, thank god for the screws otherwise i'd have a paperweight with a nice cord. Also took the sticker completely off, removed excess glue with rubbing alcohol, no issues excellent tutorial and to anyone wanting to try this, be careful. I also didn't end up using the heatshrink tubing that came with my dream cables cable, the big clear one didn't fit into the housing and the black long heatshrink just fell out, moved them all to the end of the cable and put the cable into a bungee, no issues, way better than stock. also make sure to route the cable through the path razer already made so it sits under the pcb otherwise you'll get scrollwheel rub and it will be incredibly hard to use.

I am having a problem with my Viper mini after I opened it to paracord, sand the bottom ring, and lube the scroll wheel to prevent the wheel from rattling I found that when I reassembled the mouse the right mouse button now has a rattle when I pull slightly up on it or shake it, and this was making the right mouse button harder to push than the left. If I look at the mouse I can see that the right mouse button isn’t sitting as flush to the shell as the right one, and the top shell on the right side isn’t as flush against the base as the left side. And, I did make sure the cable isn't in the way. I don't know if maybe there are clips on the side of the mouse that I might have broke or if it is something else. From what I have seen some people say it only has the two front and two back clips while others say there are also a lot of side clips as well. If there are side clips is there a specific way I have to open it to make sure I don't break the side clips? My only thought on why it might be doing this is if I broke a clip on the side, if there even are any, or if there is a specific way you are meant to put the top shell back in, such as front clips first then the back clips, and vice versa. I have no idea how to fix this so any help is greatly appreciated.

just want to add this in for anyone thinking about doing this: the viper mini is quite annoying to do this for if you are ordering a paracord from dream-cables. you need to measure out where to put the stock stress relief and such,etc, and because past the stress-relief the cable gets so skinny, this gets to be quite hard. its very likely you may end up affecting your scroll wheel, so please be careful! at worst you go back to your stock cable and have a functional viper mini with your scroll wheel still, but still quite annoying.

Not user. The Viper also has a built in stress re leaf connector which the zowie goes.

That issue is because of the cable itself (I have the same issue) and yes it most likely will because it is an all new cable that is much more flexible and durable.

You can't it needs to be put on before the cable is terminated.

It doesn't matter since the device is off, it's actually safer to disconnect after unscrewing the pcb to avoid playing with the stiff cable.

Depends if they can tell that you have changed it. In general yes this is opening the mouse and changing it.

Paracording the viper mini was actually so aids. It was super hard positioning the cable so that it doesn’t touch the scroll wheel and doesn’t block the clip in points. But my paracord didn’t have the thin rubber ending
