For others who's not good at disassembling things like me and dont have the proper equipment, try spraying your encoder with WD-40 thats what I did on my unresponsive encoder, I bought new ones online but was taking too long so I decided to try to fix it without disassembling it doused it with WD-40 and it worked!!

I don’t have a solder wick, what should I do?
@Repairclinic124 күн бұрын
you can buy it from online, because other options are more expensive like using the hot gun, or solder sucker

@@Repairclinic1 i was actually able to fix it using some WD-40, but thanks!

hi! I was checking the video... do you think it's safe to use a desoldering pump? otherwise i'll get the solder wick. Should I only use that?
@Repairclinic13 ай бұрын
yeah you can use it if you want.but make sure to handle the motherboard with care. because these motherboard's are more fragile then pc or mobile motherboards.

I have been using razer deathadder essential. for 5 months. Jiggling started. Should ı use contact cleaner or wd40 to solve that problem. What ı want to ask is that : How long does that method remove the problem ? is it permanent ?
@Repairclinic18 ай бұрын
No its not permanent the problem will come back sooner or later. Changing the encoder will give you the permanent solution.

but the problem is not that big ı mean appearently when I scroll up it goes slow down a bit, so maybe using machine oil should really fix it for months what is your opinion @@Repairclinic1
