Ya know, I never really thought of it before, but Razor is crazzyyy strong. He soloed Killua, Gon, Bisky, and Hisoka while maintaining 7 independent minions - which he could precisely and quickly modify at any given time. And the fact that the troupe were cautious of him definitely adds to that. Too OP for a human in the world of HxH. He's probably under some strict nen restrictions as well just like Kurapika to amount to that power. That or he's just insanely gifted (tho I doubt that).

I mean Razor didn't solo them in a fight, and his ability helps with the dodgeball. Finally, the sport he's playing advantages emitters and he's the only emitter among those four. All it says is that he's better than them at volleyball (and even then, Hisoka could do what he did at the end to win the match so it's not even certain Razor could beat Hisoka even in Dodgeball. Sure Hisoka would have his hands destroyed but the man was perfectly fine with losing arms earlier so that's definitely a sacrifice he's willing to make. And even if Razor is willing to dodge Hisoka's balls, Hisoka can use a second strand of Bungee Gum to prevent him from doing so, the point being: He's not invincible even at his own game). Razor is definitely strong, but performance in Dodgeball doesn't mean he's that much stronger in an actual fight. Also we can be pretty sure he has 14 minions, not just 7, the characters guess that the "14 devils" is actually Razor's ability, so he's very strong for sure, just not "on another level".

While I agree with the guy above me that Hisoka shows that he's not unbeatable, but his raw skill cannot be overstated. There's also the fact, that Togashi confirms, that Razor hasn't even reach his full potential, this guy can get stronger.

In my opinion, razor is one of the top 10 nen users in the show. His aura is probably the strongest in the show, his strength is at least equal to bisky’s. and his nen ability to control 14 nen beasts is also OP given how strong and independent they are. Also im pretty sure it’s stated by the author that Razor’s actual purpose is fueling the amount of nen for emitter spells.

Hes definitely powerful, but I would imagine since Ging hired him to be part of the game, his abilities are under a lot of conditions which make him far more powerful while he fulfills his role in greed island. he might not be as powerful outside the conditions of the game

Also, I know your waiting to watch the intro, but I promise the intro is important to the story later on, so I recommend watching it a few times before the end. Even just once an arc. Have watched every episode with you guys on here and I loved re-watching one of my favorite animes!

I'm a huge fan of hxh, I read the whole manga 5times and watched both anime so many times I can't even count but I fell asleep during the first movie and decided to completely skip the second one. Hxh is good because of togashi's writing, when you bring an average writer who just write a random shonen plot with hxh characters it doesn't work

No please don't watch the movies. One of them isn't written by the author at all, and the other only takes bits from one manga chapter. Both are very subpar movies and many levels below the source material, and will probably only confuse viewers because they introduce weird concepts that contradict the source material. Not to mention, the characters act like generic shounen characters in the movies and are very dumbed down.

Hisoka is not really a pedo, but a "potentialsexual" man. He loves it when his targets are strong and with lots of potential. Gon and Killua just so happen to be kids. Him looking at their butts was mostly just him messing with them/trolling them. He hasn't shown any other indications of being a pedo, as far as I know. I highly doubt that he's a pedo, but Hisoka definitely is hedonistic, psychopathic and evil.

Keep in mind that Razor should be an emitter. Uvo is an enhancer like Gon. HXH isn’t as simple with fights because based on different circumstances, strength will change. I don’t think Razor would be good in an actual 1 v 1 fight, his specs are best suited to the current situation while Uvo is an out and out brawler with great defensive and attacking stats

Razor can't split his minions to always keep one in the court, when they say he can only split up to 8 (7 without including himself), the referee includes both players "in" and players "out" so he genuinely can't split his minions more than he had at the start. He can split 13 back to 6 and 7 but he can't split him in three for example. I guess he could in theory fuse the minions that are "out" and split those who are "in" but he'd very quickly reach his limits doing that since he's dividing the power of the minions by two each time he does so he probably can't add more than a couple of incredibly weak minions that way and that would be a pretty pointless waste of nen as the opposite team would just get them out (and with Hisoka here, get them out for free too).

0:12 This is not an anime exclusive issue. The mangaka(word for author of the manga) has chronical pain issues and whenever he gets out of the hospital he tends to overwork himself to get as much out as possible just to land right back in the hospital 🙃 He's apparently been making efforts to properly better his health and work ethic since last year, hiring tons of new editors to take lots of the work load off of him, but we still haven't gotten a new chapter in the manga in over 11 months now. And just so you know, the manga is literally still in the very next arc after the anime ends lmao. It's a BIG arc but still, they can't make any new anime content since the next arc isn't even finished yet after so many years 🙃 Let's hope Togashi(the author) can get well enough with his extra help to one day be able to kinda consistently make chapters. The fanbase would be more than happy with one chapter every 3-6 months at this point lmao. The scariest thing is that Hunter x Hunter, the best piece of art to ever grace the shonen genre, will likely never be completed. It's gotten to the point where, in an interview Togashi revealed a possible ending to the show which he discarded. So it won't be an ending for the show if he ever finishes it, but he revealed it so that, if he dies before he finishes the show, people can see this as the official ending. It wasn't anything special though, just a little story like the very first episode, but this time it's Gons greatdaughter catching the lord of the lake, but she doesn't want to become a hunter. Her mother tries to push her to become a hunter with her talent like grandfather, but she refuses, she wants to live her life on the island, so it's the opposite of Gon pretty much.
