I really have enjoyed implementing maryland shooting drill , and the transition defense 3 minutes run the clock down. Maryland allows me to reinforce shooting spots and cut routes. And both exercises bring game like stress on my young team. The frustrations and having to find a solution, to push through and not have a breakdown. I sometimes worry it could fracture the team, but i also strongly believe it will improve how they handle stressful game situations, plus benefit of good life skills. The transition defense drill also really helped improving that aspect in a short time. Modern coaching philosophies suggest implementing more games and challenge like exercises, which i personally struggle with because i find them boring , so several exercises I've seen on your channel are, in my opinion, a really good compromise. Lastly, could you show some exercise on how to better protect the paint and stop drives when you get into/close to the paint area. Thank you for sharing your work and process , I watch a lot of clinics, but you are definitely my go-to.
