I think my biggest recommendation would be to allow a finalized keyboard and Playstation controller layout. It's distracting how with my controller is set up my pause button is the right trigger

Best version of the boost formula because you can’t just spam it by holding down the button and rings don’t give you more boost you actually have to do really cool tricks to fill it.

I love how you have to go through Apotos to get to Water Palace, I've always thought of the background of Water Palace to be Apotos so it's nice to see that realised in a game

People like to call Sonic Colors DS “Sonic Rush 3” and I can’t help but disagree not because it doesn’t have Blaze but because that game doesn’t have one of Rush’s trademark gameplay mechanics being its trick system. This fan game, on the other hand, gets it in spades and I really hope we see more of it at some point outside of this old demo

I’ve genuinely been dying for something like this!!! Sonic Rush was my first (and my favourite!) Sonic game. I’d give anything for Sega themselves to do SOMETHING like this, or at least port the Rush (and advance) series to modern consoles! …..and not give them the “Ultimate” treatment
