You need to reduce drag. The antenna could be incorporated into the vertical stabilizers, making one less drag surface. Also, the body mounts and clips could be inverted so the towers and clips are upside down and behind the wheels, making four fewer drag surfaces. Finally, airplanes have cowls on their wheels for a reason. Extend the skirt of the body to encompass the rear wheels and taper it towards the rear (you could, with sufficient planning, cowl the steering wheels, but probably won't). Those changes will give you a total of seven drag reductions. Best of luck!

Absolutely. Every little thing. Painting B-17’s in World War II made them faster because it filled in gaps at the rivets & seams. They just didn’t paint them so they could get them off the production line faster, which is what really mattered at the time.

Raz Have you thought about bringing 2 ladders and a board to stand up high that way you can get a longer run and see the car better? I see all the guys going for the record either standing on a ladder or the bed of a big truck to get a height advantage so they can get a longer run-up. When we race the driver's stands are up real high so we can see the corners of the track. You should try it. Might be that extra edge you need to break 200+ mph.

I have a little question. Why not build yourself a little stand, that you could be like 1m up, or more, when driving. You've have slightly better view on the car, and us viewers would also see a bit better as the car is approaching. Theres a reason races are also usually from a drivers stand, as it helps with seeing the car. Obviously I've never ran a speed-run, but just a thought. :) Anyway, love the videos as always.
