Because I'm a proud Welshman. I'll admit I'm sometimes brought to tears listening to the anthem. Hearing it being sung by my brothers, sisters, mother's and father's as well as young and old all with the exact same love, passion and patriotism for their home country as I feel every time I sing it or hear it being sung. No matter where or when. Stadium, pub, street, or living room. You sing it because its an anthem written to be sung. Sung allowed for all to hear and know what you're all about as a nation. What you stand for. Who you are. What you're all about. I'll always be proud to sing my anthem and I'd like to ask anyone that would like to sing along just sing it with us ! One voice makes big difference even to the biggest choirs.

Love the Welsh anthem. I lived at St Athan in the seventies and often heard the singing from the stadium on Saturdays when i was in Cardiff. It sent shivers down my back and made me gulp. Also love the Italian anthem. That takes some singing and the crowd always rises to the occasion. The Italians light up and look so happy..

As an Englishman (3/4 English, 1/4 Welsh), I have to say, the English Anthem is the most boring, uninspiring Anthem in the world! The Welsh Anthem is my favourite and the Welsh flag is so cool! The French and Italian Anthems are very rousing and I like the Scottish one.
