i went for the vasile pro recently as an upgrade from the gliga 3.. unfortunately the first vasile had warping under the chinrest but the store that sold it to me offered a replacement which was just perfect imo.. i prefer the darker tone and have put some warmer strings on it to replace the dominants it came with

I like that nutty woody basoon reedyness! You can't find that in many woods.I like the idea of vampire carpathian wood. Mr.Gliga has produced some wonderful instruments which I look forward to. I'm not in the market right now but defiantly would consider should anything happen. I love the tone, the varnish the whole romance of Rumania. Thank you for showing these remarkable instruments!😅

So interesting ... I think I'd get the Gliga vasile and put some better strings on it ... a little brighter? Maybe Eva's? That is a pretty fair price for a really nice sounding fiddle!

Oh, and have you ever thrown Helicores on the Gliga? That might make a really nice country fiddle? I may buy one. Do you ship to America, or should I just get straight from Gliga? No setup though, or nice bridge and soundpost ...

You only did scales on the Gliga 1... It was robbed of a fair chance

That's not a gliga violin,I'm very sure, because I have a gliga Genial and a gliga Gems 2 and they are very good, and all of their instruments comes with a certificate of authentication.
