Hi Rachel I am currently working on this Gavotte en Rondeau, I find if work out the bowing as close as Bach intended, with double takes two down bows occuring on Rondeau practicing slowly it should naturally fall into the Gavotte rhythm. I am not any where near your virtuoso standard on the violin but understand a lot about Bach s music. Adam Beanstock
