I just got the RC-2 pedal this week and it totally changed my playing and practicing, just a phenomenal pedal! The only thing I was disappointed about was the inability to send the loops I made to my computer via USB or MIDI. You can only store 11 loops, which is not enough. He said you can send WAV files from your computer but could you send loops from the RC-50 to your computer that way?

This is exactly like when Itchy and Scratchy introduced the "Poochie" character to make it more modern and down with the kids. Poochie had an earring, talked "jive" and was really "in your face" - skateboarding, slamming slam dunks and high fiving everyone. I just bought one of these loopers and this video has made me feel a bit dirty about it. Note to Boss - this is a fail.

I'm having trouble figuring out my loop station. Hopefully you can help. I set the tempo on all three phrases to 140 with the guide off(annoying kick drum.) When I play along with a click track and loop my guitar track, it changes the tempo on the pedal. Is there a way where I can have a set tempo to where it doesn't matter if I stop the loop early or late and that it will always be at tempo 140? Thanks for your time

can i suggest you check out a dude called Nosfell (if you havent allready) you may not like his music but his aproach to a live gig is great. you may dig him. also if you check out a thing by jeff buckley called live at Sin-e you may be pleasently suprised at how cool an electric can sound on its own. of course this all depends on what type of music you play and are influenced by but hopefully some of this helps you out some.

"Guitar wanking" is just a turn of phrase, it implies playing guitar solely for personal pleasure. It doesn't mean he's actually wanking in the usual sense. I hope that answers your question.

in terms of what hes playing, theres no doubt that its technicaly difficult. I just find the video to be based around his advanced technique rather than the advanced product. Looping is a chance to create imaginative soundscapes for players of all levels and i just dont think this video encourages that!
