www.RCSparks.com - Time to show off a cool technique that is CHEAP - and EVERYONE CAN DO iT! GORiLLA TAPE Wheel Wells! This stuff cost me about 8-9 bucks for a HUGE roll of tape.. and It is super strong.. In fact, I have been using it for a few years, just never thought to mention it. Well, in this video - I use a Dremel Cutting tool to open up my hood on the "ALTERED BEAST" 4x4 RC Machine.. and build some inexpensive wheel wells and electronics covers over my Team Tekin RX8 ESC.
This idea can be utilized by EVERY SiNGLE RC HOBBYIST out there! Save your RC's from un wanted ONSLAUGHTS of Abuse from Mud and Rocks..and simply build yourself a barrier out of Gorilla tape! I am Stoked to include this on my build. Its unue and will hold up well..
AND NO!! This Video was NOT Endorsed BY, or do they even have prior Knowledge to me using Gorilla Tape in this video.. But dang.. I wish they did. We could do some cool sh!t with it! haha
ENJOY!

I have been building since i was 14 and i have loved every minute of it. You really do some neat stuff, also the info on parts, web site's and the mods are incredibly helpful. Thank you for the entertainment and the educational incite. ( JIM

No worries my friend being 42 as i am i love watching a build progress in every little detail be fast or painstaking. My builds very rarely end up as originally invisaged. The best builds dont just happen they evolve. So enjoying this one keep tinkering as long as you need buddy i will still be here to see it finished! Awsome job so far man!

Cool video Medic, you keep giving us some cool ideas. Like using stuff that we would have just lying around the garage, house ,or work shop. It's your truck, design it or build it the way you want. It's what the hobby is all about. When you customize the truck, you kinda put part of you into it. I give your videos two thumbs up. I

The plugs through the valve covers is fine. You can call it a 426 HEMI even though it's not a dodge. The HEMI had the plugs centered in the cylinder and they ran the wires right through the valve covers. A awesome design And my all time favorite engine.

I wanted to do something back to my roots.. but showcase everything I have learned over the years, my friend :) try to come up with some ideas that can give everyone some new inspiration. I think this is just the beginning Lyle.. we are still going to see so many more amazing trucks come out in the upcoming years. theres some talented mofo's out there that can build great trucks - and your one of em. One of my all time fav trucks - out of the thousands I have seen - is your old rig- the metal truck you took to grotto. Please let me know the next time you do a winter frozen grotto run - I would love to come along!

Hey Medic, Loving this build. The inner fenders are a great touch. Ive done the same thing on my truck. I used some plastic, that I came a cross at work, its soft enough u can bend it a bit and with a bit of careful fitting I was able to make nice fenders for my kit. I get very little mud and water sprayed into the electronics now, makes cleaning up after a muddy run much easier, a quick hose to the bottom and out side and thats about it.

First, and foremost-I Love this build-(always evolving)-changes as it goes along, like a true artist, or like an old wood carver told me: the wood lets me know what to carve as I start to carve, it reveals to me what it wants to be: kind of like you do. Please don't misunderstand because it shows the artist side of you. On another note, watching public broadcasting channel(PBS11)had a show on it called The Red and Green Show. A show about two Canadian's and their lodge, each week they would have a new adventure, trapping, fishing, and general repair. Duct tape was their go to remedy for everything, followed by eh. Thank You for the hard work you do keeping people everywhere entertained while you became your wife's baby Daddy, good job my friend.
