RC ADVENTURES - Full Assembly / Trail Truck 4x4 Roller! Toyota Mojave 2 - RC4WD TF2 LWB 1/10th scale

Clean cut, and to the Point. Instead of dragging this into a video series, I considered that this style of film would really help some folks that wanted a “quick”, yet in depth tutorial / DIY in one film. The model I am building today is the RC4WD Trail Finder 2, Long Wheel Base (LWB) 4x4 1/10th scale Radio Control truck “Kit”. A Kit is a model that you assemble, and does not come with electronics.
In this film I assemble, (summary style), the entire rolling chassis as well as choose and install the waterproof steering servo, and transmission servo. The transmission is a 2 stage (high and Low gear) and can shift on the fly.
In my opinion this kit is a fun, and “easy” to do model for those who are just starting in the hobby, or is already a senior hobbyist. The quality of the parts, the thought put into the package of hardware and the overall building experience is very simple. I would give building the chassis a difficulty rating of 2 out of 5, where 5 is the most difficult. The instruction manual is very well written and the graphics are clear.

That's one of the best looking chassis I've seen, it looks very well made with tight tolerance in all parts. The body is also very nicely detailed & will look amazing when you get it painted. I like the build of the extended cab, though my only gripe which looks to have stayed between the SWB TF2 and the LWB looks to be the leaf springs which are too long at 4.75". The shocks on this kit are the main support even with a heavy load on the back of it with all 3 leaf springs providing minimal support due to how long they are locking the rear shackles against the frame. The fronts run into the frame well before they support any weight sadly. I'm currently looking to find the right spring for them for my own build of the SWB to get it back on track.

Medic you please put the blackwell axles that rc4wd, as well as the revolver shackles and z boxes they offers everything bolts right up!!! I think they would be badass on a truck like this and it would be by far one of the sickest long wheel base TFs out there!!!. I run them on my trail finder 2 and have no regrets!!!
