RC aluminum scale boat w/ proboat outboard- working motor trim and anchor winch (on board)

On board view (bow and stern). 32" aluminum hull by Mozzie Craft with Proboat outboard. Venom 80A waterproof esc running a 2s lipo battery and Futaba 7 Channel remote/receiver. Anchor winch and fully adjustable motor trim.

Nick Darlington: Thank you very much!!! I'm happy to help you out. I bought the hull from MozzieCraft, they have a website and they posted a thread over at rcuniverse in the general boat forum. The anchor winch is made by "Krick" and should be fairly easy to find online an easy to wire up. Motor trim is being operated by a 1/4 scale sail servo from below the deck. Nick G: Its the stock outboard motor from the "Proboat Stiletto 29". Its an 1800kv motor and I'm running an Octura 440/3 metal prop. Ty: The anchor was purchased from harbormodels and I just added some fishing sinkers on each stub of the anchor for a little more weight. Outboard I found online by searching "proboat stiletto 29 outboard motor".

That is awesome! I am contemplating doing the same with a thick aluminum, 36" hull. The hull weighs 8lbs, do you have any guess on the weight of the hull in this video?

I am a huge fan of very realistic looking RCs, and this boat is definitely a 10/10. I am looking forward to building a boat just like yours, but I really need help. I have already bought the outboard, and batteries. But I really want motor trim, an anchor winch, and of course, a beautiful hull just like yours. I have no idea where to start, and I would love it if I could have much appreciated help from an experienced RC boater like you. Please help, Thanks

I would recommend 3d Printing a hull and if you dont have one then you can send files to a company so that they can do it and send it to you! I know its been 9 years and you probably dont need help but maybe your doing something now?

I got the anchor from harbour models online. They can be found elsewhere too. Search "scale danforth anchor" and it should turn up some good results. Im using the largest one I have found so far with two added sinkers on each side since the metal they are made of is not very heavy.

Hey, just look up Mozziecraft and they make the hull (2-3 weeks to order). They also make a version of this hull designed to accept jet drives. From there just google "Proboat stiletto outboard" and go from there with appropriate electronics...good luck! More details can be found in the description box of the other vids too.
