This is very nice. I have a similar, albeit older and cheaper system. Q903 FWD rc car, Small RaceBand 8 camera / tx, and a set of SkyZone O4X goggles. My limit right now is the range of the cheap rc transmitter.

hey thanks and oh yeah this an old system but we did a lot in years back anlog look on ebay and so for a used TBS 5,8ghz like unify or so they should be cheap and with an i would say decent antenna you should have way more range!

Hi on the google the Stock Antenna and on the car longer ones have to Look for the Name but They are technical the same as the original just longer in Building to have the antenna as high as possible on the Cars These Helps a lot, and the Rest ist just looking where we can stand to have a Most line of Sight as possible thats the real Magic

FWIW, the RadioLink 6 channel transmitter gets 600 meters/ 1900 ft of range.

Maybe try sensored ESC/motor for crawling. Allows you to slowly creep over stuff and have a lot more lower-end torque.

vielen dank und gute frage also aus der drohnen erfahrung raus was ich mitterlweile alles mit der o3 gemacht habe reichweite ist vermutlich gleich aber die penetration ist mit der o3 nochmal eine ganz andere nummer aber wir könnten mal einen vista pod on top setzen dann könnt ma vergleichen das wäre möglich ja aber bin mir recht sicher das die o3 länger fliegbar bzw fahrbar bleibt da man mit 4mbit wirklich noch ein vernüftiges bild hat bei der vista wirds ab 8 schwierig

yeah it is, i installed ein 50kg omg Servo and this one is super fast, would say everyone how get an lasernut bevore you ever drive go and build in an new servo at least 25-32kg makes the drvining way more better

What a great pleasure it was to watch this. Please tell me you found a way to ARM it to its full output? I have had my Goggles 2 and 03 Air unit for 3 months now and they are still in the packaging. It was only until I found out after I placed the order, that to set this all up properly, The system needed a hack as such for ground vehicles. Can you please share how you managed to unleash the full potential of both 03 CAM and Goggles 2 ?, I would be very, very much grateful for it mate... Thanks again!! PRC - Australia.

Thanks for your awesome comment, and sure im in the middle of making a video about how tu build it up but in the meanwhile there are two ways one way is using an Fflightcontroller from the FPV Drones and install INAV ROVER on it that's a complicated way the only benefits are you can have an osd with GPS and so on my car is based on this, the other way is using an ardunio and building up this project cost nearly nothing around 6 bucks for the arduino github.com/ramiss/arduino_DJI_03_RC_ARM

I also would be interested in watching a video on this. On my dji fpv drone I used dronehacks to remove geo fencing and altitude limits. However I am now starting a fpv car build and am trying to decide whether or not to go with the dji air unit or find something else. This is the outcome from the DJI O3 system there is a software stabilization on it so the video did get recorded and stabilized at the same time. And the Lasernut as already super stable on his own then some mounting improvements with TPA 3D Print for the high frequency and here you are but give my video description a look there you find an DVR video this ist the live video link between car and google this is what I see while driving there it is way more bumpier but still pretty good we are experimenting with gimbals at the moment to improve driving experience

You should try using the storm 32 brushless gimbal controller to mount the camera on. Takes out all the vibration, so with the 03 the ride is dynamite.

Okay even with a crossfire and and 03 air unit I still don’t understand your range. It’s not your distance that gets me, it’s that your in the mountains and the tree cover is dense. The only way this could work is if your on the bridge up above seen in the video right?

yeah googles, and I use DJI O3 on this Lasernut RC Truck, But it also work with the older vista oder HDzero and so on, I like the O3 because the ouctome of the video is butter smooth and great image but it is some kind of expensiv.

one of the most mistakes is to stand wrong we normaly look to stay in line of sight, when you can see it with your eys it should also work to drive there in the limits of the system, and yes a video is coming with full setup
