Hi everyone!
Simple video going over my personal workshop and what goes into building those little machines! I could have gone more in details, but i wanted to keep the video a bit shorter! I skipped over the computer setup and cad softwares, but if you need to know, i use a Ryzen 5800x, a 1060 6gb card, 64 GB of ram in a node 202 case. For softwares, I run Autocad, 3d builder, meshmixer, prusa slicer, and simplify3d.

Hey pascal I also have one of the old atomic 2000 snowmobiles would be cool to see a build of it on your channel. I’ll have to say since I’ve built your alpha 6 I’ve not done much with it maybe some 3d printed upgrades are in the future for it!

The alpha-6 at 700$ are gone, but I still have a few other sleds in store. They are a lot bigger being a 1:5 scale, and are definately worth it!

The idea came to me February 5th 2019. Believe it or not, the g4 was supposed originally to be a 1/6 scale sled, but i ended up lacking space. The first somewhat assembled (but working) version of the 1/5 G4 was conceived April 26 2019. and the first actual test took place June 26 2019. Of course, it didn't end well, being the first ever prototype of a brand new thing. But the first ride I'd call reliable was sept 15 2019, still on the grass. To this day, i still work on it to improve it. Every month I improve an old part to make it better, and now, more than four years later, it shares virtually no parts with the original, but its all inter-compatible still, surprisingly. Meaning you could say the g4 had been in development for the past 4.5 years...

Sa part d'une idée, inspirations et recherche et développement! Suffit ensuite de trouver les bon outils et les bons matériaux! Une motoneige n'est qu'une chenille et deux skis après tout😉
