I started my rc career with indoor micro helis. Your house is perfect for flying micros and practicing landings on your huge counter. This heli looks pretty cool as copying a hornet can be. I'd goggle up for this bird. Although at that point get a tiny whoop so you can bang into walls and keep flying. . . Thx for sharing your world with us B&M.

Hello and good evening ! One question: Can the ERA C127 AI Brushless be changed from Mode2 to Mode 1?? I would like to fly the helicopter with throttle on the right

I *think* you can do that on the APP, if it's an option. the same app you see me using on the phone...BUT you might need to do some fancy stuff with the physical Transmitter. I believe you can also ORDER it in Mode 1 or Mode 2

By the way you can fly it from the app but the remote control has to be off. Also the AI part works really well.

We have had this experience (not getting these features to work) time and time again with these more economy choices. We admittedly may have a hardware mis-match with our particular cell phone, but we do try hard to share OUR experience, and not the experience that someone else had or what the manufacture wants us to share. (@ 34:39 ) As I said, we didn't get it to work on the video, and never did off camera, so how exactly would we shared OUR findings about how great it worked? That's not to say that you might not be able to get it to work with you cell phone or tablet. Maybe my cell phone it too old to work with this app? I really have no idea, but for me, the heli is still good enough, even WITHOUT that part of the offerings, but we never had a chance to see it work. Would you rather we lie about how great stuff works, when we never got it to work? I'm not sure that would be the best approach. We share our real findings, and sometimes we even share that we THINK something might not work, or even that we aren't looking into it, but in this case, we never saw a single "GREEN BOX" the whole time...and never expect to see it. Hope this makes sense.

I renamed the video in your honor - "RC Era - Sentry (or Black Bee or Hornet - We don't know, Nobody knows) | C127AI - RTF Heli" - you're welcome ;) We found about 4 different names, and when the Chinese knock off a product, from the neighboring RC shop - down the hall, they don't really hold to naming conventions of the "west"...and this can lead to some confusion, of which, we are party. Depends on if they have stock in CA or not. Sometimes they're in stock STATESIDE, and other times they're not. I'm very sorry I can't answer since this answer DOES change based on stock levels.
