What a lovely triplane, I’m impressed he was able to get the cowling as good as he did!

Josef Jacobs was shot down in this machine 470/17 on 3rd October 1917 by a Sopwith Camel. During the crash, he was saved by being thrown from the cockpit into a large pile of horse manure...

Great video, thanks. Ground handling is great. Is there a build forum for it?

Any problems orienting this color scheme? Beautiful plane.

I'm not the owner/pilot, but, I've never had any problems following it. Maybe on a more conventional design, the scheme would make it difficult, but the Triplane is so distinctive, and the white rudder helps a lot.

Have to wonder if this beast is still flying.

Didn't get out to the field much last summer, or this year yet, so I'm not sure if it's still airworthy or not. Knowing the owner, it is.

Bought mine from estate sale, same issue, the builder failed to put in correct incidence on horizontal stab, should be about 2-3 degrees up on leading edge.
