I own 4 of these and two d01's. I have dozens of helicopters up to 700. Down to xk110. This is still my favorite ro fly. You can adjust the 6 axis to be very minimal and get faster flips and rolls. This is a great bird. I have flown with devo 7, 10 and 8s. They all work equally as well just the interface is different. 7 taking some seat time to get the menu system but it is still a great tx. Everything is adjustable. If you have tail wag, adjust the gyro. I put mine on the analog knob to find the sweet spot. You can assign any input to any switch, button, knob on the tx. And change the outputs. Very versatile. This thing is so stable even when inverted. You can make it more nimble. Change the pots on the flybarless as well as tweak tx settings. I recomend floureon 2800mah batteries. They help the cog and last a long time. They are very reasonably priced as well.

I flew this last weekend for the 1st time, I'm still learning but can hover. This felt so good I FLEW it, almost (accidently) out of sight, got it back and landed safely. Huge confidence boost, lovely smooth handling copter. My RC club Chairman then did some loops and rolls (without idle up) and said that's alright (huge praise from him, lol).

I got my start with Walkera helis “Genius CP!) and was impressed with their gyro and decent parts. I have still been kicking around the idea of getting this heli even after all of these years. I’m just apprehensive because I don’t like waiting for parts! I guess the solution would be to not crash 😏🤓

They are now starting to call the heli sizes , by the blade size . You should definitely run the main blade grips a little tighter . I always liked the Walkera copters yet I have never owned one , the videos of these helis actually started me down the path of flying . Even though I've had tons of large helicopters and brands like Goblin , Protos and Trex to name a few , I still want a Walkera .

Dead cockroach is no joke I learned the hard way to always make sure the battery is disconnected before making any kind of adjustments in the transmitter. I had my heli go nuts and smash into a million pieces on the ground after I made a simple change it my dual rates, it was enough to make the flybarless controller to freak out.

I love this heli, but I had a servo go out earlier, luckily didn't cause a crash but the servo literally went up in smoke after I got it home to check it out. I replaced it with the OEM servo, but I've been scared to fly it much after that due to horror stories of failed servos. I bought a set of ES09 servos to upgrade it with, but it requires a bit of grinding, and I've basically forgotten most of what I knew about setup of cp helicopters. I'm afraid if I switch the servos, I won't get it set up right and will mess up the flight characteristics, which are great with the stock servos. Makes me sad to see it setting on the shelf gathering dust. Anyone had success long term with the stock servos? I have absolutely no interest in 3d. Would the stock servos likely be ok for non 3d?

Being new to this would ideally want to spend no more than 100 as I'm likely to crash a lot. Any help would he much appreciated. Big respect to you

The V911S, is a VERY twitchy bird! It also doesn’t want to lean in turns, and the gyro for the rear motor seems to be “always” working too hard, makes a strange noise as you are flying. I enjoy flying my V911 more than the 911S. It just seems to fly “robotically”, if that makes sense. I believe the HK110 or 120 would be better than the 911S, MUCH better TX’s as well! The 911S has the same looking TX as a V911, but you can only use it for the 911S. HK 110 RTF, is not much more money, but you get A LOT MORE for your $$.

@leerenslear10644 жыл бұрын
No....buy a small micro fixed pitch.....tougher when hitting ground...cheaper parts....and if you fly into yourself which is easy to do when learning you won't be badly damaged...this V 450 would most likely send you to the emergency room !!!!!.... And buy a brand that sells all replacement parts , usually locally..hint hint Horizon Blade heli's....if you decide you like this hobby then buy something bigger..better with more capability... after months of learning.
