Try running two 6s packs on parallel, it would be a perfect power house for that motor size. I have built a racing truggy with the same motor, 22t. penion , hobbywing 150amp ecs, 150mm racing truggy wheels and it hits 80mph on dirt with two 6s packs in parallel.

60 on grass is respectable! Theoretically it would go faster with the bigger original wheels/tires, but maybe would get some ballooning and instability. Gonna watch that vid now!

I heard others their surpass hobby 150a esc burnt on 6s. Maybe their kv motor is above the limit of esc? I'm thinking putting a 6s on my 2845 2600kv motor. The motor limit on surpass hobby 150a esc states 2500kv on 42** size motor. Do you think the esc can handle the extra hundreds of kv on a little 2845 motor? I'm on a wild project ideas right now haha.

Should have a button on the ESC labeled "set" in the ESC manual for that. Press the set button once. Turn on the TX. Press the set button. Give full reverse then press the set button. Give full throttle and press the set button again. You're all set.

Woow nice budget build! The car has improved a lot in the newer version. Thicker drive shafts and remade motor mount. Also, that thing even reached 100kph offroad! I'm surprised the gears are able to hold up despite the strong torquey motor on 6s power. Does it mean they have improved the gears as well?

you use the small tires because with the big ones the transmission will not hold? sorry for approximate english i am a french subscriber!

At first glance i want to buy it. However after analysis : no bumper so when you crash you explode directly the gear box and shok absorbers horizontally. No official website of Zd Racing, almost impossible to buy spare parts ( i even see comments suggesting to buy a full roller version to get spare parts !) beautiful example showing manufacturer do not understand what they sell ...
@familyman86444 жыл бұрын
Gear mesh sounds little to tight. Get what you pay for. How long did it hold up on 6s? Few runs?
