The COWARDICE! Chomp bot clearly used some form of cheating. Look at pumpkin bot all like "Look comp can we be friends" and chomp was all like nah you a pumpkin and shot flames at him! HOW RUDE! Then when chomp was like "Yo bring it in im sorry hug meh" Pumpkin bot was like "yes finally senpai noticed me!" came close and BAM right in the stem. Plus that late hit should have completely disqualified chomp so no not just in our hearts did pumpkin bot win but within the rules as well!

woa you used marbles as ball bearings too. I have a list of cheap-round-things that might work as bearings and marbles are one of them :D. Other interesting things on the list are: BB ammo, round wooden beads, ping pong balls, golf training balls, ball-pit balls, polystyrene craft balls, and unshelled macadamia nuts.

The hammer is reset with electric motors. Air can be used to reset the hammer if the robot is on its side and you're ok with it swinging around like a jump rope.

would love for the pumpkinbot to be made into an actual battlebot. maybe hammers that deploy on spinning, a ring of fire aimed 45° downward to make a big flame circle, and a tough pumpkin shaped shell with a jack-o-lantern face. maybe it could spit something slippery like oil onto the floor so other robots have a hard time with control - after all, you dont need but so much control when your weapons hit all around you at once
