That's not anti-squat. It's the relation between the angle of the rear hinge pins to the chassis. Tilted towards the front or rear will change if the rear drops or raises when throttle is applied.
@TD-zx7kf6 жыл бұрын
Not to play devils advocate but on most trucks, you can adjust the "toe" in the rear and most people do. The difference is, in the rear, you want 2-4 degrees of toe in and you do that by either blocks, pills, etc. and your inner hinge pin. You are correct in the fact that the rear of an RC can not be changed by a camber link.
@jeffhodges61637 жыл бұрын
Good stuff, but some things you have a bit off. You can control rear camber and toe in the SC5M. The rear toe is done by the Choice of C-Block that you chose to install. If you replace the stock plastic C-Block with an aluminum one, you have have far more adjustments. Cheer's!!!

It's a slash tho lol not a sc5m

could you do a video explaining racing terms and formats? like classes, mains, heats etc... i hear people referring to a main and 1st heat and so on... sportsman, corr, ebuggy etc etc etc but ive not seen a good video that lays out in detail what these all mean

There is a qualifier usually after practice and 2 mains if you qualify make sense.

E buggy is electric buggy lol and sportsman is a beginner class for kids and people who suck .It's pretty self explanatory.

Heat is usually one race.

Even if you put them in a sealed bag aren't you just trapping them in a bag of air?
@juniorvalentine88376 жыл бұрын
Terry Hildreth the humidity in the bag is more of a constant because less air circulation. when that air hits a certain saturation it pretty much will stay at the level. just like a loaf of bread will go stale if left out, but bagged it will stay fresh longer but not indefinitely

what are the pros and cons of having camber and toe?
@noobus14236 жыл бұрын
Inward toe - more grip/ outward toe - less grip Negative camber is most likely the only camber you'll ever need, and a little amount will help in cornering

you think I could compete with a helion avenge 10sc? i just bought it as my first hobby rc ever
@thedannyg6844 жыл бұрын
DiZaZTeR if you want to compete on a budget you should see if any local tracks have a “stock slash” class. You need to run the brushed slash with virtually no mods so no one is going to beat you with their wallet. Good luck with your racing!

Great tips there man, you sure do know your stuff! I only bash my RC Trucks so all this is totally Irrelevant to me ha ha ha (0; Liked and subbed
@rcjunky24157 жыл бұрын
Yeah no reason to get real crazy with it if you just bash. I would just look at the tires and eyeball it, just to keep the truck driving decently straight. Thank you for the comment and subscription.

Very informational but not what I was looking for. Can anyone tell me what I should buy for a rtr sct? I don't have much to spend as a start but I'm planning on doing some work. Can you race a brushed slash or tenacity at a track? 4wd or 2wd? What if I just wanna run some laps and get used to racing? I'm thinking about one of those trucks I'm just not sure
@braidenwaits28014 жыл бұрын
Johnny lee Sarine there are a lot of tracks that have stock slash classes. But if your wanting to run with other shortcourse trucks if you are going to go with a slash get the lcg chassis and play around with it. I started out with a slash and if you get some practice and learn what works at your track they can be really competitive. (My sct410.3 has been beat by a high end slash.)

What you do if you only have one rc and one set of tires and don't have the money to get more tires
@rcjunky24157 жыл бұрын
I would clean them real good with simply green use tire sauce and make due.
