I just checked it off my car battery and it powers up. Sound like there is something wrong with the ac side of the charger or the ac plug.

You need a more powerful motor. I had the same problem with the ecx. Maybe 3500kv because it would have more torque to turn the wheels

Did you clean the steel bearing and oil them. You might find they will spin much more freely and longer as well.

Which shims are you using specifically? They come in different thicknesses.

That's not anti-squat. It's the relation between the angle of the rear hinge pins to the chassis. Tilted towards the front or rear will change if the rear drops or raises when throttle is applied.

Wouldn't reducing the weight of the idler gear shaft only count as weight savings and not rotational weight savings? The shaft isn't meant to spin freely hence the bearings.

The problem with mine is that it was a metal gear grinding on a plastic gear ⚙️. So it killed my plastic gear with a motor that puts out 3300

Take the rubber off the stock bearings and as slip grease to them. .

mine was binding like just like that, then I discovered that I overtightened the diff so much that the gear was no longer a circle. loosened it and everything was good after

Great video man! I have had bad luck with all brands, of cheap bearings. Never tried ceramic? But, I like the NSK bearings that come with my Serpent vehicles, they are metal shielded and last forever!
