Hello Roach rc, FYI: A class we are driving here in winter period is 1:28 scale (also known as Mini-z). Mostly driven on indoor rpc tracks on-road, but there is also a buggy class. And cost depends heavily on the class your running (you can buy multiple box stock cars for one advanced modified chassis).

Awesome video, very in depth. As an oval racer I wouldn’t say that it’s exactly the easiest form due to the different track conditions/surfaces where you’re constantly chasing the setup. It’s a whole different animal that’s more than just turning left. I appreciate your thoughts and opinions it’s always appreciated to have such great insight from within the RC community.

Amazing video! Definitely thinking of racing, but the one thing holding me off is part support ending for specific models. I have a TC4 but the issues with it are the lack of parts able to be purchased now. I'm thinking of building a rustler of all things into a decent stadium truck racer for whatever my nearest track is, despite how not ideal it would be to do it practicality wise and financially. Just think it'd be a fun project to build something nobody wants to run at races, even if not a victory winning truck. Plus, parts support is another key factor if I go through with it.

Depending on where you race, I'd get a rig that lots of people at your local track run. That way you get a decent amount of part support from both other people and the track itself if it has a store inside.

I've marshalled 1/5 before. It's not usually awful, they usually don't crash as often because of how stable they are and can easily drive over any pipes if they get off track. I did watch one lose signal and run away. Luckily it didn't hit anyone but it cleared out a bunch of lawn chairs before wedging itself under the rear axle of an f250

I like how it wasn't the wheel or a chair. No it took the AXLE OF A F250 to stop one of those things

My city has more stock car (nz style) more than rc buggy racing. They use tt02 chassis with metal bodys. Lol I would play but I feel like it's little skill. But that's why many show up

Hi, I can't say which event the 5th scale touring car you showed was, but it was definitely at Brookland Raceway in the south east of England, near me. They also race 10th touring car there.

Pretty much any used buggy I can find for a good price. Probably an HB, AE, or Mugen

@@caseedwards3017 I recently had experience in buying a Tekno eb410 and I like it a lot. Very durable. Only issue is that for stock racing it's kind of too heavy.
