Very nice looking plane and not a bad price either. I love the fact that FPV was included in the design. Happy Flying!

Thank you, fellas! :) Snazzy plane for sure. Right size, streamlined, great colors and such... I'd get one, but I'm pretty confident I'd fly that bird straight into the ground with my current flying skills. lol!

Do you think it's possible to put inav on this with a f405 mini 20 x 20 board? I've been looking for a fast fpv plane really I want a pusher jet but a props yet not an EDF and I can't seem to find them anywhere it's like they stopped making them. Great review and if you know of any pusher prop Jets that are in the 900 mm wingspan size that would be awesome. Thanks again for everything and proud to be patreon on your Channel Lee

There is a bit of choice. Most pushers are Bixler/skywalker style or wings. Pop me a line on Patreon and we can look at it more.. Happy flying!

How would you compare this to the efx racer (without the xtra) I know this one is just a tad smaller.
@Painless3604 жыл бұрын
I've not tried the EFX but LOVED the EfXtra....

Thank you for the video! It’s nice as always :) Since you've mentioned that due to the smaller plane size wind affects it noticeably - is using a 3-Axis Flight Stabilizer seems like a good idea in your opinion? Also is there any room somewhere in the plane that flight stabilizer can fit in?
@Painless3607 жыл бұрын
+Sergey Pavlov there is no room for a stability support. It's down to you! :)
@sergey.pavlov7 жыл бұрын
Painless360 I've got an idea. Stabilizer can be mounted on the FPV pod! :)

I got a question. Do motors get burned if I put in full throttle without a prop?
@Painless3607 жыл бұрын
+Francis Rohan John nope, but once youre ready then get that prop on and get to the field! Happy flying!
@airwavested7 жыл бұрын
No as long as you're running it within the voltage range specified. But don't run it for too long as it will start to get hot as it won't have the cooling airflow provided by the prop or flying.
@francisroan7 жыл бұрын
Painless360 Thanks! I do fly a 250 n 450. But yesterday while I was testing my 250 without a prop that motor got burned n smoked the whole room

Great Video as usual sir, may I ask you a question concerning afhds 2a protocol? Does any afhds 2a receiver work with any transmitter that uses this protocol? Can I say buy a afhds 2a receiver of any type for my TX? I'm just getting into the hobby (33 years male) but know myself enough to say it's gonna stick with me. Any help is appreciated. Cheers

+MyLife-MyRules see our series in the fs-i6s radio where we tried a few tests. Sadly it's not guaranteed that every AFHDS Rx will work with every radio on every firmware. Best of luck!
@easley4217 жыл бұрын
Painless360 Thanks. Not what I wanted to hear but it's alright. I think that's the one thing that needs to be addressed in RC. There needs to be more uniformity for transmitters. I understand there are advantages to different ones but come on! FrSky, Flysky, DSM, ECT! Very confusing to new guys. I think it's why I like the hobby. You can't master it quickly. Cheers buddy

I'd suggest using APC props rather than the HK ones as I've found that these are much more resilient.

Nice video but for a beginner I was lost on a few things like servo talk and flight controller. I know you must have a vid on an explanation of these somewhere.
@Painless3607 жыл бұрын
Yep, in the iNav series. You don't need those in this model though..
@Painless3607 жыл бұрын
P.S. this isn't a good plane for a beginner IMHO ;)
@Soulcommander7 жыл бұрын
what model would you suggest for a beginner?
@Painless3607 жыл бұрын
Depends on your experience with any form of RC really. We love the Tundra here, very tough, great to fly and easy to land take-off too...

Hey fellas, How hard is it to learn to fly an airplane if you have only been flying a quad? I mean this thing makes me want a plane, of course not something like this but maybe eventually... thanks!
@Painless3607 жыл бұрын
Buddy Martin a lot of pilots find it easier to fly a plane. That's because a plane is always moving forward so if you can get your head around the differences in the controls due to changes in orientation. You should be able to fly a plane. There are some great beginner planes out there, but some time in the simulator will pay off handsomely.

Why can't you use 4s with your FPV setup? You can simply pull the red and the 3rd black wires and you end up with 12v on a 4s pack. No need to use all 4 cells if using the balance lead for power. This plane seems to be much more fun on 4s from all of the reviews.
@Painless3607 жыл бұрын

Guys would this be better to buy over the Durafly Excalibur 🤔
@Painless3607 жыл бұрын
Depends on how you want to fly and how big the area is you'll be flying in. The EFX/EFXtra is a screamer but gets small really fast when you open the throttle. The Excalibur is a lot larger and still fun to fly but less quick..
